Modesto City — Restaurant in Trieste

We ordered 3 different pasta dishes and everything was amazing. The food was full of flavor, rich and simply melted in our mouths. Very tasty caponata with eggplants. The juicy veal polpetine, real carbonara and the hearty pistachio ravioli with bacon were all so good! The portions were quite big but our son still wanted to try their tiramisu. And tiramisu didn't disappoint either. It was delicious and the portion was like for 2 people. And let me add that the 2 young waiters were nice and friendly. The prices here are very moderate for the quality you get. It's simply an authentic and honest restaurant where they know how to cook real Italian food. They made our evening so pleasant and we enjoyed sitting out on the street among the tall trees observing people...

A fantastic find in Trieste! Didn’t expect much going in but wow!!! Every we had as a party of four was sensational and at such a reasonable price. £18 each for a drink, main and a dessert and I would happily come back here every week if I could. One of the best white pizzas I have had. The tomato sauce on my partner’s pasta was one of the best and the veal her sister had was so tender and melted in the mouth! First time I’ve had tiramisu in Italy and it was the first I’ve ever liked. Bravo!...

A cosy place to have a tasty pizza. Prices are fine, pizza starts from 6 Euros (pizza Diavola costed me only 7 Euros) and the quality and portion size are good. A large variety of pizzas are present (around 40 different types) so you surely find what you fancy. Tap beer is good, but rather expensive (40 cl of dark beer costs 7 Euros, and light beer 6 Euros). In the inside, the place looks quite nice...
