N'Joy Food & Drinks — Restaurant in Trieste

We stopped by here in the evening for dinner and drinks. The servers never acknowledged us. They were serving everyone around us and cleaning tables around us, but they completely ignored us. I would look at them and smile trying to kindly get their attention, and they would just look away. At one point, one server pointed at us while speaking to another server, I think asking him if we had been served. The other server laughed, said something to him, and then patted him on the back. That server then turned his head and would not look at us. We were not doing anything different than anyone else. It appeared obvious to us that the servers, all 20 year-old men, were deeply homophobic and were purposefully refusing service. I could have walked up to them and requested service, but at that point we felt that this was an awful place and we did not want to spend our money here. First time in Trieste, reluctantly chose this restaurant due to time constraint. The lack of attention from the waitress made us regret our choice soon after ordering. Bland and stale food, extremely overpriced for small portion sizes and poor quality of ingredients. Pasta dishes were close to frozen dinner standard, the burger was dry and lasagna tasted like it was made by a child. 100 ml of white wine cost 4.5 euros, I thought it was a joke when the glass was brought out. Indecente il servizio, di certo non ordineremo più, perché chi non è in grado di dare un servizio buono e avere cura del cliente non merita proprio di lavorare, ma purtroppo alla gente piace farsi prendere in giro. Ordinati 4 panini, come da descrizione sul menù di Just eat ogni panino ha compresa una porzione di patate fritte nel piatto, infatti già avevamo ordinato qualche mese fa e ci erano arrivate due box con due panini e due porzioni di patatine. Questa volta ci è arrivata solo una porzione, telefoniamo al locale, incompetenti a dir poco; ci viene prima detto che è stato un errore del rider, diciamo quindi di provvedere non che ci lasciano senza tre porzioni e una cena a metà! Dicono che non possono fare niente, già qui allucinante perché se è un errore del locale il locale deve rimediare e punto, se io nel mio lavoro sbaglio o un paziente si lamenta del mio operato devo rimediare io e punto, senza se senza ma. Poi ci ritelefonano dicendo che hanno ragione loro, che andava bene tutto e che è solo un "assaggio" ma non c'è scritto da nessuna parte che sia un assaggio per 4, c'è chiaramente scritto che per ogni panino si hanno le patatine, non una porzione vagamente per due in quattro! Allego le foto visto che sono stufa di posti dove lavorano solo incompetenti, e qua a Trieste ne è pieno di ristoratori che vogliono solo fregare il cliente e zero cura di esso, cosa che fuori da questa città non succede, anzi. Peccato perché il cibo è buono, ma se questa è l'arroganza del servizio e l'incompetenza no grazie, di certo non falliranno per un cliente in meno, perché tanto c'è una massa di decerebrati che si fanno andare bene tutto solo perché il posto è conosciuto, ma funziona così il mondo.
