Arrived for a late (9:20-ish or so) dinner at the site in Via Po, shared a sliced meat appetizer dish and ordered two pizzas. We were sitting at the very end of the outside dining area along the sidewalk. Overall service was poor to the point that any time we needed to ask for something additional we had to walk 20 yards in and look for somebody. The quality of the pizza was just like many other places in town and they arrived almost cold at the table. In any other restaurant/pizzeria once food is brought to the table, there is a second visit, soon after, to ask if everything is of liking. In this place it seems personnel is not trained that way: food is brought to the table and the customer is forgotten. A candid question: with all the nice food places Torino has to offer (right there in San Francesco da Paola or few blocks away) do we really need a pizza place like this in town? We will certainly avoid a second experience here but I felt I needed to let others know. Sorry the "Tutto bene?" carelessly asked at the end when you are already at the register begging for the check doesn't cut it. To the ownership the suggestion is to retrain or select better your personnel. You can serve mediocre food and that may be forgiven, the poor service is inexcusable and will...
Read moreI wanted to visit this place for a long time due to it's different style of pizza. I went there in a fairly busy night, the overall atmosphere was warm and welcoming. The front staff was tired and annoyed, they were not rude or unpleasant but you can clearly feel their fatigue after a long shift. I think the management should help the staff with managing the crowd and fatigue. The happier the staff, the happier the customers. I've chosen pizza Speck, Radicchio e Gorgonzola. The dough was super light and thin (thinner than napoletana) and still could handle the toppings really well. I thought the bread would be more crunchy (something like new heavens style) than this but it was mostly pillowy soft with some crunch spots. The toppings combination was cool. The crunch of the fresh radicchio, saltiness of speck and funkiness of gorgonzola was in harmony together. It was a pleasing experience for me. I may pay a visit sometimes to them but they will not be my...
Read moreI dont know if eat in pizza is different as i read in the reviews but in my opinion eventhough it might be different it is a mistake. If u pay for a product the quality should be the same and this is not in discussion. Talking about the pizza or better let’s say ‘farinata’ i would have given 1 star but let’s be supportive. If it would be an american restaurant or other i would have accepted that type of pizza but in italy that kind of pizza, sorry to tell but...
