El Centenario — Restaurant in Turin

Amazing! We were waiting outside while it was cold and rainy. Then 10 minutes before opening time a man(I think he was the head of the restaurant) opened the door. He let us in and then noticed that we were foreigners and immediately started speaking English with us. We were treated with respect and he even held a conversation with us. We got seated immediately and got a free bowl of nachos with a salsa dip. Then we ordered some drinks and food. There was a wide variety of food and drinks and everything was understandable and affordable. After we were ready to order we didn't even have to wait for our drinks for more than 30 seconds because our drinks arrived nearly instantly. After not even waiting for that long, our food, which I expected to take longer, came in under 6 minutes. My chicken cheese burger even came with fries that were incredible. The burger was decent but the chicken was a bit too dry. But for that there were free sauce packets standing on the table. After adding some sauce, the burger was delightful. The chicken salad was great as well. It was so big and it came in a tortilla for a bowl. Then I had a cheesecake as a dessert. It was really good and there was some whipped cream on the plate that was not how it usually is made. It was creamier and stiffer but not too sweet so it was perfect. After finishing our food I got a Mexican head put on and he gave me a shot of an alcoholic replacement (I hope so) for free. I do not recommend this place at all. Low-quality food and quite expensive for what you get. The plates are just depressing, with a cheap side of rice and some salad mix. I ordered a burrito and I must say it lacks of flavour and color. If you go to Latino Restaurant you expect flavours, spices and more. But I just got charged 14€ for an irrelevant chicken burrito with some melted cheese on top. (side was an average rice and a SLICE of tomato cheese) We were two and we spent around 60€. Sono stata al Centenario, un ristorante messicano e texano che mi ha lasciato un'impressione molto positiva. Situato su due piani, il locale offre numerosi posti a sedere, creando un'atmosfera accogliente e spaziosa.

L'ambiente del Centenario è solare e allegro, con colori vivaci e decorazioni che richiamano la cultura messicana e texana. L'atmosfera è quella di una festa, con musica allegra e personale cordiale e gentile.
