Fradiavolo Pizzeria - Torino Gran Madre — Restaurant in Turin

Had an opportunity to visit one evening when visiting Torino for business. Not too far from the city and a good choice to hang out with friends, families and colleagues 😊

Technically one of my initial restaurants in Torino and was impressed by the variety of food, good service and courteous staff.🫡👏👏👏

It was full in the evening while we had booked a table in advance.

Ambience was excellent and the food was Authentic Italian food was first time and was endorsed by my Italian friends was superb.💕 Beers 🍻 we’re of good quality and the food as well - pizza 🍕cheeses 🧀 was delicious 🤤… Best authentic Italian pizza 🍕 and no wonder it’s awarded winner 🏆. One of the best pizzas I had in my life 🥳🕺

Toilets 🚽 were also neat. Friendly for English speaker like me 🫡.

I had a couple of drinks and food on the cold , rainy evening. Thank you Fra Diavolo for providing nice service and good...

It’s actually good 🍕 I always assumed that fradiavolo being a chain would result in subpar pizza for higher than average prices. Albeit the price is still slightly higher than the local pizzerias, the quality is there. I enjoyed my pizza.

Note to Fradiavolo: One of the staff told us that the restaurant was full and we couldn’t sit for 30 minutes - yet there were so many tables outside. We asked another staff about sitting outside and he said that we could surely sit outside. Please train your staff to be more efficient - they could’ve suggested us to sit outside if we wanted to. Quando pensi di averle viste tutte, non si ha ancora visto niente! Una delle esperienze più disagiate a cui io abbia mai assistito. Eravamo 3 persone con tavolo all’aperto, avevamo solo preso da bere. Ad un certo punto ha iniziato a piovere, e come in teoria “normale” che sia bisognerebbe avere un dehor al chiuso o quantomeno aprire gli ombrelloni. Niente di tutto ciò è successo, siamo dovuti correre dentro il locale per ripararci, perché i camerieri si rifiutavano di aprirli. Ed al perché di tutto ciò è stato risposto che c’era vento e inoltre gli ombrelloni erano “rotti”!!! Con tanto di cameriera urlante alla clientela, che invitava la clientela che non avesse ancora ordinato di andarsene. Non ho mai assistito a così tanto di assurdo! È inaccettabile un trattamento del genere. Conclusione hanno dovuto aprire per forza gli ombrelloni perché altrimenti i clienti non si sarebbero seduti al tavolo, sfido chiunque ad accettare un trattamento del genere. Se avessi voluto un getto d’acqua addosso me ne sarei andata diretta alla piscina e mi sarei attrezzata con tanto di costume da bagno, non in un locale “rinomato”. Nonostante tanti clienti se ne siano andati via, purtroppo noi siamo stati costretti a rimanere per una questione di orario. In quanto era già tardi per metterci alla ricerca di un’altro ristorante, altrimenti era da andarsene a gambe! Per essere un “locale” non bisogna puntare solo sui piatti ma anche sul buon senso civico e di organizzazione. Detto...
