Fratelli Pummarò — Restaurant in Turin

My husband and I visited Fratelli Pummaro for dinner yesterday and couldn’t be happier about our experience! From the warm, attentive and welcoming staff to the delicious food and lovely ambiance—the restaurant truly delivers on every aspect.

My husband ordered the Fitness pizza while I went for the Insalata Bufalina. With our order of prosecco, a warm, fresh-out-of-the-oven focaccia appeared on the table. The crunchy exterior with the soft and fluffy interior was absolutely delectable while the prosecco was crisp and lovely.

Once the main affair arrived however, we knew we were in for a treat! My husband’s pizza (which I definitely sneaked a slice or two from) was covered in fresh and flavourful tomato sauce, perfectly melty mozzarella, and scrumptious prosciutto. My salad came topped with the freshest and creamiest buffalo mozzarella while all the other ingredients were so fresh and tasty as they’d been picked from the garden just minutes ago.

We ended the meal with their tiramisu, which wasn’t the best I’ve ever had but still very good.

It is a pizza place in San Salvario. From the looks of it, doing lots of home delivery, there were many delivery bikes waiting right at the door so even entering inside was a bit difficult, and the person at the register was also the one dealing with delivery stuff so we waited a bit to pay our bill etc. I would suggest them to find a better way to organise between the deliveries and for the ones who are eating there. Even though place was empty food arrived a bit late, pizza was good. Overall it is a nice place just needs a bit of better...

Eravamo in 3, prenotazione The Fork. Direi che il locale si basa tutto sul concetto di compromesso: Appuntamento alle 21.30 , riescono a farci sedere alle 22 per poi farci alzare dal tavolo dato che si sono accorti fosse quello errato, per poi farci accomodare a quello giusto per le 22.10 La cameriera, per quanto gentile e disponibile, non ha saputo rispondere a nessuna delle domande riguardo gli articoli del menù su cui è stata interrogata. Tuttavia era chiaro fosse nuova, quindi va bene così Abbiamo preso una focaccia con lardo come antipasto da dividere: niente posate né piatti, si mangia facendo sgocciolare l'olio sulla tovaglia. Tuttavia devo dire che il condimento era abbondante (seppure l'olio fosse eccessivo) e il piatto di per sé gustoso Arrivano le pizze: l'impasto mi ha piacevolmente colpito, così come mozzarella e salsa. Ma la salsiccia della mia salsiccia e Gorgonzola era cruda! Allego foto a dimostrazione. Un peccato, ho dovuto scartarla Prezzi abbastanza folli, margherita 8 euro e con pizze anche sopra i 14 euro. Tuttavia, avendo usufruito del 50% The Fork alla fine il conto è stato anche inferiore alla media, circa 12 euro a testa considerando l'antipasto sopra citato, una pizza a testa e coca cola a testa.

Direi che il potenziale ci sarebbe pure, peccato che poi nella pratica si perdano in gravi errori grossolani....
