Old Wild West - Torino Stazione Porta Nuova — Restaurant in Turin

Had a long day of layovers and delays one day traveling to Milano Centrale. Decided to order food from here while in the station. The prices were probably what one would expect from these establishments in train stations. So I order to go and wait outside because my train was delayed. Once food was brought out I noticed train was delayed more and decided to sit outside the restaurant where they have tables and chairs set up so I can eat since I had some time. Well not 5 minutes later a gentleman comes to our table and says that we can’t sit and eat at the tables. I’m like wait I just ordered and paid food from your establishment and now you say I can’t eat where I paid probably way too much money. That was really the main thing that bothered me.

I'm not sure if we just got there on a bad day or what, but when we were seated the server opened up by letting us know that we could only order items off the menu that had chicken or fish in them as they were out of beef. Considering it's a wild west themed restaurant most of the menu was beef items and we had chosen this place to get a burger. I ended up getting the salmon steak with vegetables which had a picture and description of Norwegian salmon, only to be given a frozen salmon patty, considering the price point reflected ordering a fresh piece of salmon it felt like being cheated. The green beans it came with tasted like them came from frozen too sadly. We tried ordering their draft beer, only for the server to come back and tell us they were out, this happened 2 more times when we then tried to order other beers on the menu. serata 12/10 alle 20.00 eravamo in 2, arriviamo e ci fanno sedere. unica nota positiva, ci ha serviti un ragazzo con gli occhiali super gentile e attento. c’erano 3 tavoli, dopo aver ordinato (un panino senza cipolla e un polletto) l’ordine arriva dopo 30 minuti di attesa. all’arrivo noto che il mio panino aveva all’interno la cipolla, giustamente dopo 30 minuti non mi aspettavo ciò ma lavorando anche io in una catena (roadhouse) capisco che ci si può sbagliare. chiamo il ragazzo con gli occhiali e rimando indietro il panino, lui super gentile si scusa nonostante la colpa non fosse la sua. ritornano al tavolo dopo 40 secondi (ovviamente hanno tolto la cipolla e rimandato indietro il panino) e all’arrivo noto che dentro c’era ancora della cipolla, un pò infastidita apro il panino con le mani e la tolgo da sola. a questo punto nonostante il sapore di cipolla do il primo morso e noto che l’hamburger era crudo, do qualche altro morso ma lo lascio li perché non riuscivo a mangiarlo. ho evitato di rimandarlo indietro perché aspettare altro tempo non avevo voglia. a quel punto mi aspettavo che qualcuno venisse li con un “tutto bene?” assolutamente no, addirittura un ragazzo dietro il bancone con il telefono in mano. quando forse ha capito che si vedeva tutto dal tavolo si è girato di spalle per continuare ad usarlo tranquillamente al posto di venire a chiedere come stava andando, super maleducato al termine di questa “cena”, quando ci sono stati ritirati i piatti non hanno osato nemmeno fare la domanda di rito “è andato tutto bene” assolutamente no, nonostante avevano notato che il mio panino era praticamente intero. alla cassa faccio presente quanto successo e risponde che se volevamo poteva rifarci il panino, rifiuto poiché eravamo un pò di fretta ma ho apprezzato. tutto sommato è stata un’esperienza molto negativa ma i miei complimenti al ragazzo con...
