Paddock Bistrot & Public house — Restaurant in Turin

As you can see in the linked photos, our order included salmon tatar as an apetizer and spaghetti carbonara and risotto with asparagus and salmon. Fish tatar was excellent, high quality ingredients plus not so obvious avocado assistance make a great welcome for every hungry guest. The price is not low for an antipasto (12$ as of May 2021), yet I can trully recomend it for all highly demanding visitors. In terms of risotto and pasta, withouth doubt both deserve 5/5 score. Paddock is where you should head to when in search of classic, good, old italian cuisine. Finally, a decent variety of alcohols makes the Bistrot a good option for a drink only stopover. Io e la mia compagna abbiamo soggiornato a Torino per 2 giorni, e per la cena cercavamo un posticino sul fiume che fosse adatto a noi, così casualmente siamo finiti in questo carinissimo Bistrot molto accogliente per cena. Abbiamo preso un antipasto piemontese a dir poco strepitoso, un piatto di tagliolini alla boscaiola e uno di gnocchi alla crema e noci, che dire, i tagliolini gustosissimi e freschi, gli gnocchi si scioglievano in bocca e la salsa perfetta! Per secondo volevamo provare la tagliata, premettendo che siamo molto critici sulla carne, la tagliata chiesta al sangue ERA UNA TAGLIATA PROPRIO AL SANGUE, perfetta, morbida, non nervosa, una esplosione di gusto! Le porzioni di tutti i piatti sono molto generose!

Passiamo alle birre, premetto che io non sono per nulla un bevitore esperto di birra, ma ho voluto fidarmi del titolare che mi ha proposto una birra ospite rossa ( non ricordo il nome 😅) molto delicata caramellata e leggera. Dico solo che è scesa come l'acqua, buonissima!

Poi per terminare il tutto abbiamo assaggiato il buonissimo e spero molto presto famoso AMARO MELE! sempre su fiducia del titolare! Inimitabile è dir poco!

Una serata perfetta, speso pochissimo meno di 30€ a testa e la qualità OTTIMA. Il tutto accompagnato dall' accoglienza e cordialità del personale e del titolare che ha saputo farci sentire a casa con la sua simpatia e gentilezza e conoscenza delle birre mostruosa!

Se passate per Torino non potete perdervi questo luogo magico anche solo per una buona birra in compagnia!

If you love beers (and are too lazy to go to TrippelB, or want some food that comes with it), then Paddock is the right choice. The owner chooses his beers with great care (best Guinness in Torino) and has good food in the wait.
