This is a very good restaurant, run by Guido Perino, a chef who used to be the second chef in a Michelin-starred restaurant and recently opened this one to be on its own. His cuisine is largely based on traditional dishes of both Campania, his native region, and Piemonte, as it is to be expected. However, all dishes are cooked, combined, seasoned and presented with a pinch of originality, deriving from his long experience and good taste. The wine list is very wide, spanning most of Italian production and beyond. The dishes menu is not very long, which is a good feature, with just a few alternatives per section. Alternatively, the restaurant gives the opportunity of choosing between three different tasting menus, with different contents and obviously proportioned prices (€35 - three dishes, €50 - five dishes and €75 - eight dishes plus dessert). All is quite nice, with some surprising, unusual flavor combinations here and there, and very refined dish presentations. The chef is a nice guy, who comes at your table and stands at your disposal to explain the menu the single dishes and the culture, origins and philosophy of his cuisine. Be advised that the size of the dishes is often small, as it is very common in the upscale restaurants, and that wines can add up to your bill very quickly, as some special addition, like...

After being turned away from several restaurants (including a finger wag, from a disgusted restaurant matriarch), my husband and I found ourselves at this hidden gem in Torino. We immediately were welcomed with warmth and kindness from the waitress. We were treated like old friends from the waitress, and the chef himself as soon as we sat down. We decided on the chef’s tasting menu- which certainly did not disappoint. Five gorgeous, fresh courses, and a wine pairing. The chef clearly loves cooking, and does so from the heart. That much you can not only see, but taste. The experience was so unforgettable. Rarely are you treated with such warmth and kindness. My husband and I truly loved just how intimate of an experience this was. Typically, you find yourself at a fast paced, loud restaurant. This one was small, but intimate, with great music at the perfect volume. Not to mention we had the best, and I do mean the very best, tiramisu of our lives (as dessert connoisseurs, this is no light compliment). 1,000/10 cannot recommend more. I cannot wait to return to Torino, and Casa...

Creative chef, great service, modern in the best sense. A bit tucked away in a side street form the big Torino market we found a wonderful place for lunch. Not through a food guide but the menu which drew our interest. Modern interpretation of local and Italian dishes, we had marinated salmon japanese style, vitello tonnata revisited with bottarga, tuna with green salsa in perfection, spaghetti tre pomodori to dream of, manzo scottato .... creative chef, super nice and competent service. Forgot to mention the wine, we went for accompanied wines by the glass, selected by the sommelier which were surprising and well selected. In short a big surprise for us to find such a nice and welcoming place outside the usual gastronomic guides. Probably this might change in the near future. Don't hesitate to go, highly...
