GREAT CHOICE OF WINES, BUT....
As soon as I entered I saw two waitress talking between each other, so I went there asking for one of the free tables available where to have a glass of wine with my guests:
To my "Good evening" I was replied "One moment, we'll be there to you", and that answer would have been acceptable and understandable if you cannot stop because there's something else you must prioritize at that moment (example you have hot plates in your hands to be served), so not because you have to finish your conversation with the colleague (job arguments take no more than 30 seconds to end when a guest is waiting in front of you)... I was about to leave already, but another waitress arrived asking me if I needed anything, so in the end I took place at an outside table with my guests
*The order was taken by one of the two waitress who at the beginning asked me to wait for being seated, and that's ok, but as I asked for the bottle of wine her answer was "Eh, I need you to read more information about because there are so many wines in here, otherwise I don't find it"... Mmh, any other polite way for saying that? But ok, let's continue
*Another waitress arrived with the bottle showing us the front label, I agreed it was the one I ordered, so she pours the wine in our glasses... Too bad that the vintage was different from the one I asked for, but it was written on the back label, and it wasn't neither shown nor mentioned to us
*No one came neither once asking us if everything was fine or for pouring some wine in our glasses
*We asked for the bill that was never brought to us, so we had to stand and go to the cashier for the payment
*Ready for the payment, the cashier prints the bill, but the amount was more than how much we had to pay, so I point this out to the waitress that, without an apology nor an explanation, replies to me "Ah ok".... So? What was the problem? Why did you ask me more money so?
Well... At least we didn't eat (just try to take a look at the other reviews about...

Firstly, the staff were downright rude. When we arrived at the restaurant it was half-empty, however, we were told to wait by the elderly waitress (with short blonde hair) before she would check to see if a table was available. She then proceeded to stand and chat with her female colleague for the next 5 minutes. When she did bother to check it felt like she was doing us a favour. Her manner was abrupt and inhospitable throughout. She’s clearly in the wrong job.
Unfortunately, the service didn’t improve. The young, male waiter tried to rush our order through as quickly as possible. He obviously couldn’t be bothered explaining the menu and even snapped at my partner at one point when he sought clarification about a dish. So to him, here’s a message… Darling, you may be stressed by a half-empty restaurant but you need to remember your manners and treat the people that pay your wages with a little courtesy. They are called CUSTOMERS.
We had two courses which were both revolting. The portion sizes were minute for the cost, and the food was substandard and tasteless. The wine was equally as disgusting.
We rarely leave a restaurant without tipping for service but in this case, the entire ordeal was so horrendous it was warranted. If only we had read the other bad reviews of this restaurant we could have avoided it completely.
There are plenty of excellent restaurants in Turin. This is NOT one of them. If we could give this restaurant NO...
Read moreA scandalous experience. It has been a pity to come across with such a low quality and shameful dining experience at one of the known spots in Torino. We have gotten to wait for half an hour to be acknowledged that one of our orders didn't exist while we have seen that new clients were served that dish even if they have arrived later than us. The two women waiters rejected to serve a dish that exists on the menu with a reasoning of that the cheese plate is too strong as an appetizer. I am sorry but who are you to decide for my palate and gustatory pleasure? Apart from that the manager short hair blond woman was extremely arrogant, loud and rude in her tone of voice and her responses. We had to wait for the appetizers for one hour, at last, while the first dishes arrived, we have been already waiting for 1,5 hours. Then another male waiter has brought a bottle of water to the table and almost threw it to us. They know nothing about the art of service, of courtesy, of manners. Coming back to food, cheese plate was consisted of old and sad a few cheese, outdated grissini; agnolotti was so inbalanced in taste with its excessive garlic. Agnolotti can't be made that bad in Piemonte, I am sorry. The whole experience have been stressing, hours passed in hunger, poor service and bad and cold and late arriving food and unapologizing and unkind manners of all service stuff except one...
