Ristorante Silos — Restaurant in Turin

Every dish we ordered was simply amazing. We started with one appetizer (Vitello Tonnato) and two first courses (Plin di Seirass and Fagotto alla Campidanese) because we weren't too hungry but they were all so delicious we decided to order a second course dish too (Filetto di maiale) and two desserts (Millefoglie di Carasau Caramellato and Fragole Vermouth). I have never been in a restaurant where every dish is incredible but here it surely was. The staff is also very friendly and can always explain how each dish is made and what it comprises. The price is in line with many other restaurants in Turin but the food quality is so much higher, I totally recommend it. If you are looking for a restaurant with a creative twist on traditional Pietmontese dishes, this is the place to go. We ate here twice while we were in Turin and were delighted both times. Our favorite dishes were the slow cooked egg over asparagus with a cheese sauce and the tajarin pasta sauced with a hare ragu and summer truffle. We also really liked the capocollo of slow cooked pork. The second night we ordered the plin, filled with sea bream with a sauce of pistachio pesto and lime. What a wonderful discovery, what a gem! Great food and outstanding service! I was impressed by the attention they give to the customers, explaining every little detail of the dishes on the menu.
