Went here for dinner on our second day in Venice and had the best time! ☺️ We ordered a whole bunch of Cicchetti (a must do when in Venice) and they were phenomenal👌🏻 Whatever you do, order the Spritz Select. 🍸 You have to. This is not a debate. The Venetians will hang you at the gallows if you order anything else off the drink menu 👹 (aside from wine, of course) Just kidding! But, the spritz select is a Venetian original and you'd be a fool to miss it.
This place is nearby to some other local favourites and you can tell you've parted away from the crowds because A. There are no gondolas in the canals here, and B. There's no cover charge on your bill.
While we were enjoying our frutti del mare and "frutti del terre", the couple seated behind us dropped their phone into the canal 😳 But the wait staff were very helpful with aiding the family in retrieving their phone 🥹 (Basically, all you can do is call the locale polizia to fish it out for you and hope for the best 😩).
A handful of young gentlemen tend to drive by on the canal in their parent's boats at least once every 8 minutes while playing loud euro club music 🚤🎶 Which, honestly, kinda adds to the young, vibrant, rebelious atmosphere of fondamenta street. Don't be bothered by it--instead--just fist bump along to the synchopated rhythms.

Having heard about the neighborhood through a YouTube video highlighting Venice's best places to eat, we were excited to try it out. We were not disappointed! I tried the spaghetti alle vongole after opening with the prosciutto e melone for an antipasto. My stepdaughter had the cannelloni ricotta with spinach and sun-dried tomatoes. Everything was delicious. Best of all? We had a table immediately adjacent to the nearest canal, where we could enjoy the sights of Venice while we ate. Definitely...
