Bea Vita — Restaurant in Venice

Osteria Bea Vita is a great place to dine. We were seated outside at the tables right near the water canal. Like many other places in Venice the tables are quite near each other and placed on the side of the sidewalk. The service was prompt and polite. They offer free still or sparkling water on the house. The food was tasty but the portions a bit on the small side. You might want to go for more than one dish. This was the perfect late night dinner for me. The food is simply fantastic (I ordered the tagliolini with prawns with a bottle of Prosecco), and the ambience can't be beat. It's right by the water with outdoor seating and is frequented by a sophisticated crowd at night. There aren't any other businesses immediately next-door, so dining outside felt quite peaceful, and down the street, local youths gather and sit chatting while...

A family run affair. Set in callegario, so no hordes of tourists to climb over. An unassuming establishment, but the food will knock you back. We had the scallops to start which were sublime.
