We stumbled on Michal Meron's art studio by chance, while strolling through the Ghetto of Venice. I was captivated by the vibrant, colorful display of the pictures, in three quite distinctive styles: a series of abstract, richly and deeply colored paintings evoking Kabballah themes, a brightly colored series on Jewish holidays and Torah scroll illustrations and my favorite - a series of pictures of typical Venice doors overlooking the canal. Read moreI think there are two studios, across the street from one another. We got drawn by the colourful artworks in the window display and the cutest cats greeting us at the door. The nice gentleman in the store (who is from Mongolia) is so kind and welcoming he told us all about the art and the artist behind the work. We purchased a couple of the artworks, it’s so special and lovely. The really nice man at the store also gave us a gift, completely made my day.
