Dodo Caffè — Restaurant in Venice

Food is bad in this place - or service/interest to understand customer needs - or both. Communication was about bruschetta portions next to us in nearby table, waiter told how he made them and blaa bla bla. We maybe mistakenly read their fussy list but he didn’t care to straighten it out and in pic is what we got. Nor all happy and did’t eat it. It tasted as bad as it looks in the picture.

Edit. Place owner below claims that we got what we ordered. Not really. As I stated out, we tried to get small eating like in the table next to us was (with bruschetta bread etc). The waiter didn't care to make it right though he certainly understood what we meant.

we spent almost an entire hour waiting for the waiter.. he served several tables including new arrivals, and we are almost sure he intentionally ignored our numerous calls. the tables are very close to each other and even after taking the order for the table right next to us (the people there arrived way after us) he would always be turning his back on us and pretending he didn't hear despite that we were almost screaming SORRY and PLEASE. we left after an hour during which we smoked lots of cigarettes without any drink. we were just arriving from the airport on vacation, and we had our luggage with us. we were the only brown...

Although very close to other restaurants and cafes, this is definitely one of my favourites that I have been to at the moment. The server was extremely friendly and spoke a decent amount of English. As well as this, the prices are good and the food was also very good.

The only reason why this review lost a star (being extremely picky) is because of the amount of olive oil that was on my pizza. I don't know if this is something at the restaurant or a Venice thing, but I just didn't like how much olive oil there was (it was...
