PREZZI:

Croissant vuoto piccolo = 3€ (mentre all’inizio era 2€) Caffè espresso = 1,50€

OVVIAMENTE IL TUTTO IN PIEDI DIFRONTE AL BANCO DEL BAR!! VI INVITO A NON...

Disclaimer - review based on the very first day of opening

The location is amazing, the interior very modern yet cost but omg my birthday lunch there was a disaster. Such a farse we are still laughing.

1 hour and half to get spaghetti with vongole (waiter declared they had to recycle a dish without shell from another table and the spaghetti were left aside in the kitchen) - little cold dish with few clams

At one point before getting pasta a lady comes with an unknown cake for my children.

Pasta alla norma had a nice sauce but the very late paccheri were not cooked.

The octopus was the only decent dish (swordfish involtini not impressive). Nice wine list with uncommon choices (had a lovely sparkling wine).

After this mess 3 hours later no one blinked at cashier while giving us the bill... I would have expected at least an amaro and excuses

Not acceptable for an expensive place by a...

A Perfect Venetian Pause with a View.

San Giorgio Café in Venice is an absolute gem, perfectly positioned with breathtaking views of the marina and the Venetian lagoon. Yes, you can expect slightly higher prices here - but they are more than justified by the stunning location and the peaceful ambience away from the crowds.

The coffee is simply delicious - rich, smooth, and served with an unexpected treat: a complimentary biscotti that perfectly complements each sip. A delightful touch of hospitality that adds charm to the experience. Don’t miss the lemon cake - light, fresh, and bursting with citrus flavour.

Whether you're stopping for a morning espresso or a late afternoon indulgence, San Giorgio Café offers a relaxing, elegant escape with high-quality offerings and impeccable service. Highly recommended for anyone looking to enjoy a special...

LA SERENISSIMA: this is the coffee shop you’ve been looking Ask for Lucio, say “you read Giorgio’s review” and he will take care of you - Excellent view…Doge Palace, St. Marks bell tower, all the yachts lined up parked - Hearty/homey outdoor terrace with classic Venetian fence - Strong AC inside clean - Good smelling WC with a toilet seat! (Not a guarantee in Italy as I’m sure you know :) - there’s even a radiator next to the toilet stall - Iced latte is served - Delicious biscuits - This is where you take a date, think about it, you take her on a boat ride “because you know a special place, walk around the island, etc Mr. Casanova ;) - This is where you drop off your parents or grandparents Enjoy

For those who consider 2.5 euro for <tasty!> coffee lungo corretto astronomical, and unable to notice presentation and the great view - yes please, you better stay iut - in Dorsoduro (if you are good people) or somewhere on tourist way between F.S. ans SanMarco (if you are one day visitor or cruise liner passenger). For rest of us, here are fresh photos - please note direct view at SanMarco view as background; good sandwich plus beatiful appertizer plus well presented luqueor plus table coperto was just 15 euro person. Yacht club marina as bonus, and excursion into Asdocuation Cini is in 100m (which I think is amongst top3 in Venice, together with roof of Basilica and gallery of Accademy)
