During our recent visit to Venice, we had the pleasure of discovering a charming cafe right by Piazza San Marco, facing the mesmerizing waterways. This cafe quickly became our favorite spot for unwinding and indulging in the delightful ambiance in the afternoons, making it an exceptional location for people-watching. There is something truly magical about sipping a drink while gazing upon the picturesque surroundings of Venice.
The menu offered a wonderful selection of drinks that catered to our preferences. Whether it was a refreshing beverage or a perfectly brewed cup of cappuccino, the quality was consistently excellent. Additionally, the snacks and sandwiches provided a satisfying accompaniment to our afternoon breaks, YUM!
The staff here are friendly and courteous. Their attentiveness added an extra layer of enjoyment to our visits, making us feel like valued guests.
I would recommend this cafe to anyone seeking a haven of tranquility in the heart of Venice. Take a seat, savor the flavors, and immerse yourself in the beauty of this captivating city while enjoying the warm hospitality and delightful offerings of this remarkable...
Read moreI'm from Paris and yet I'm shocked by the prices and most importantly the lack of respect of the staff towards "the tourists".
Prices are unbelievably high (11€ for a RedBull, 9€ for a coke), which even in the fancier neighborhoods of Paris I've never seen. Yet, the establishment is poor and the staff treats customers - aka the people who allows them to make a living - like less than nothing.

When I said that considering the prices you could expect better service, they said "this is plaza San Marco". If anything, this should be an argument to provide a decent service ...
They treat tourists like money bags and have 0 respect for them, so you're better off buying a drink in a supermarket and drink it on a bench by the...

While waiting, we asked where the bathrooms were and a staff member asked if we were patrons before grudgingly letting us past him. After drinking our coffees, we decided to get a snack to go. We went inside to the self-service area, where the barista's attitude was bigger than her ego. We waited to order a pastry while she flirted with a young Italian...when she finally decided to help us, she very rudely told me to pay the man at the cashier first (who was also cranky). Even after doing so, for some reason I was an annoyance to her. We got the sense that tourists are not well liked at this business...I wished I had spent my...
