I've been to this restaurant in Venice several times since it opened, and it has both positive and negative aspects. The first negative point is when you want to enter the restaurant. Given that it's a very basic and casual place, it's unlikely that anyone would think it's better to make a reservation beforehand, even though it has many seats. However, it's better to make a reservation in advance (although I doubt that this would help much given the management style). So, you have to be prepared to wait outside for a long time until a seat becomes available, and there's not much order or special arrangement, it mostly depends on the desire and mood of the staff. The next negative issue is the behavior of the staff. The younger ones seem very tired due to the high pressure, while the older ones with more experience don't pay attention to customers at all and seem to be just waiting for their working hours to end without putting much energy into the job. However, the restaurant has a very positive aspect that can be said to be unrivaled in Venice, which is its excellent pizza menu. The people who make these pizzas and, in general, the kitchen of the restaurant are exceptional. From making the pizza dough to the ingredients used and the way they are cooked and presented, everything is superb. I can say in one word that the pizzas at this restaurant are unique. They are very delicious, fragrant, beautiful, and just amazing. I hope the restaurant management will reconsider their approach and hire more experienced and deserving staff so that the major weakness of the restaurant's personnel can be resolved and the potential of this restaurant with such unique pizzas can be fully realized.

What a beautiful dinner we had, I will suggest to get a reservation few hours ahead but the service was perfect ;) … let’s get to the pizzas : the Dough was nice and chewy ( I think they use Petra flour ) , with a nice cornicione and nice air pockets , but I didn’t see the cheetas 🐆 print I was looking for, I think was a little bit too thin in the center making the bottom not so crispy , and more on a napoletana’ style of soft bottom, the Doug was cooked well with a nice smoked crust, the tomato sauce was of first quality , sweet and salty , and each ingredients was really cured and picked with delicacy . We ate their version of bresaola rucola and grana , with a beautiful milky burrata but what hit the spot was the crunchy and sweetness from shaved almonds 👌🏻👏, what a great touch, the second pizza was a special one , with a pure’ of yellow tomatoes , a speck in cottura ( here the chef really did something great , he chopped down the speck in smaller pieces creating a really regular bite and making it really easy to eat ) , a caramelized / fried basil 🌿 ( not sure how he did this ) and a cream of ricotta ( again I can’t remember if it was ricotta ) , but the pizza was super well balanced and brought me back to a modernized pizza of south Tirol in a cold winter , rich and strong, with a really nice touch and elegance 🙏🏻 . I was super impressed 😜🥳🙏🏻

AVOID THIS PLACE!!! Truste me. Read other customer's reviews and you will see what I am talking about.

In a phrase: Average pizza and the worst (really worst) service of all Italy.

We waited in a 30min line because we didn't have reservation (that's fine, is what many restaurants do) they wrote down our names and told us they will let us know when a table is available (around 20-25m waiting as their calculatios). As soon we were sat in the second floor I realized there were many empty tables that makes me thought it seems like a strategy to makes you think the place is full. Then, when you order is when you realize the type of place you're in:

We order food for four people (pasta and pizza), they brought one dish (pasta after sort of 30min) and way longer later (15-20 min) the rest (the pizzas), the person with the pasta was almost finishing when the rest of us received our dishes, nobody wants to eat a cold pasta. In good places they coordinate the different dishes cooking time to bring them all at the same time to the table, that's the norm. The pizzas were not bad but neither the best and we ordered what the waitress recommended and supposed to be the their best options.

Things doesn't ended there, the worst was still to come, as soon as we finished our meals and were about to end our drinks they asked us to leave (exact words: "since you don't have reservation I need you to leave" - what?!!!!), so why they allowed us to enter if they couldn't manage an additional customer?.... to give you some context they took like 40+min to bring all our dishes but couldn't wait 5min for us to finish and we ate really fast because all the waiting time. On top of that, the waitress was so rude and started to pick empty glasses from table in a rude manner and moving the table to another place because they wanted to have more customers immediately served, all that in front of us while we were still drinking our drinks, so our conclusion is they only care about money and treat their customers just as wallets. Worst experience I ever had in a restaurant, I have never been treated this way on any other place. I thought it was an isolated case but then I saw a lot of other customer's reviews having the exact same situation. I won't recommend this place at all. There is nothing special about their dishes tbh.

Regarding the taste of the pizza I would say is abut above average. There are many other way better options around for same or less price. Again and trust me or live it yourself: avoid this place if you don't want to go through a really bad experience (both food...
