A rather disappointing experience after seeing such great reviews. The pizza was relatively good tasting and nice size but a bit soggy from the toppings I'm assuming? I also was surprised with whole pit olives which were not translated correctly on the menu and I didn't anticipate receiving. The server was a bit pushy and trying to constantly upsell me and I was watching him give better service to other tables with more people. I didn't get a b&b plate or vinegar, and had to ask for bread when I saw him bring other tables the full set up. Sorry buddy I'm not going to eat an 80€ meal by myself at 5pm. I asked about desserts and told him I was a chef and that my favorite dessert was tiramisu and he suggested the chocolate cake and ice cream. So I went with that. Cake was barely luke warm and gritty on the inside with the mouth feel of crystallized sugar. Also, the vanilla ice cream had a strange flavor and was yellow like cheap off brands at the grocery store. I had a couple bites but it wasn't very good and definitely not worth the calories to finish or the 8€. He asked if I liked it and I told him not really and then just tried to bring me a shot of limoncello instead of taking it off the bill, which I didn't want or take. The Bailey's on the rocks was the best part of my meal. Would not recommend or return for a 2nd go. Lastly, he made sure to tell me before he processed my credit card that the gratuity wasn't included and asked me how much I wanted to add. I also took half my pizza to go because I wanted to get dessert and he just smashed it all into a tiny container with a piece of foil so he didn't have to give me a pizza box. An unpleasant, expensive and underwhelming dinner experience overall. 👎🏻

Best food experience in on our summer sabbatical so far - France, Italy, Morroco - this place best them all. Lovely balance between being friendly to tourists and authentic dishes. Bonus: lead staff seems to be either a seasoned oenophile or perhaps even sommelier. He helped us choose a terrific bottle to accompany our meal and we were not disappointed. Dishes we tried: Saora del Cassa - traditional Venetian fish, onion, raisin, pine nuts - such an honor to taste these historic flavors Sea Bass and Sea Bream - run, don’t walk - a special taste from the chef was a huge delight Pizza! - Not a Venetian speciality, obviously, but absolutely delicious! Insalata Pere - perfect balance of sweet and savory Gnocchi with Pomodoro - best Gnocchi in Italy so far (tastes as good as my expat sister’s homemade, but don’t tell her) Groppino (sp?) after dinner blended treat of gelato, Prosecco, vodka, and lemon (to die for) Overall: you won’t find a better dining experience in San Marco - rumor has it Stanley Tucci was enjoying lunch on the back patio!

Hands down the best restaurant I’ve ever eaten at—anywhere in the world. Located in the heart of Venice, this place delivered an unforgettable dining experience from start to finish. I ordered the filet mignon with truffle on top, and it was perfection. Cooked exactly how I like it—tender, flavorful, and topped with rich, aromatic truffle that melted in my mouth. The side of potatoes was seasoned so perfectly it’s like they read my mind. Crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, and packed with flavor. My family and I decided to go all in and try every dessert on the menu—and wow. Every single one was delicious, but the panna cotta stole the show. Silky, smooth, and bursting with flavor, it was easily the best I’ve ever had. The service was excellent, the ambiance was cozy yet elegant, and the food? Truly unforgettable. If you’re in Venice, this is a MUST. You’ll be dreaming about the food long after you leave.

If you find yourself in Italy and craving authentic, mouthwatering Italian cuisine, Ristorante Centrale Pizzeria is a must-visit gem. From the moment you step inside, the warm, inviting atmosphere makes you feel right at home. The charming rustic décor combined with impeccable service sets the stage for a memorable dining experience.

The menu is a delightful mix of traditional Italian dishes, with a focus on fresh, locally sourced ingredients. Of course, the highlight is the pizza. The thin, perfectly crispy crust is topped with high-quality ingredients, from rich, tangy tomatoes to creamy mozzarella, and the variety of toppings leaves you spoilt for choice. Each bite delivers the perfect balance of flavors, making it clear why this pizzeria is a local favorite.

Beyond the pizza, the pasta dishes are also outstanding. The handmade pastas are cooked to perfection, and the sauces are bursting with fresh flavors. Whether you opt for a classic spaghetti aglio e olio or a more complex ravioli, you’ll be transported to the heart of Italian culinary tradition.

The wine list is thoughtfully curated, showcasing Italy’s best regional wines, and the staff is more than happy to recommend the perfect pairing for your meal. The service is attentive yet relaxed, and the staff makes you feel like part of the family.

Whether you're dining in the cozy interior or enjoying the beautiful outdoor seating, Ristorante Centrale Pizzeria offers an unforgettable Italian dining experience. Don’t miss it if you’re...

My other half and I were cluelessly looking around for a somewhat authentic Italian eating experience, and through hopelessly searching around Google for "pizzeria" we stumbled upon this magnificent Ristorante. As two English people that speak little to no Italian (although we do try), we were immediately welcomed into the restaurant with a warm embrace from our friendly host. From the first bite of bread to the last sweet savour of the tiramisu, this restaurant was an absolute delight. The waiting staff were happy to help with recommendations, and were patient with my poor attempts at speaking Italian. The food came in perfect timing, not too quick that I thought it wasn't cooked, but quick enough after one course to immediately enjoy another. I'm new to the idea of a first course/second course meal as the Italians do, but it timed perfectly with my other halfs pizza, and was the perfect amount as a large English man that enjoys his food. I cannot speak highly enough of this fantastic little ristorante, and I will certainly be making a hurried visit through the front doors upon my next trip to Venice. Grazie mille Ristorante...
