I wish I could give zero star but it’s sadly not possible. We came to the magical Venice to have a nice city experience with delicious Italien food like everyone else. But I swear to god such a disgusting food I have never eaten in my whole life. We have much better Italien restaurants here in Germany. The owner was so ignorant and I guess they just wanted to make fast money and not provide quality. I ordered risotto with sea food and it looked it was ready made or even worse frozen. I barely had any sea food in there and quantity was poor and the rice was undercooked and it didn’t really taste like anything other then salty.
But with the quantity I could live but it was horrible tasting whatever kind of food it was but definitely not a sea food risotto. Luckily our neighbours saw our food and they also decided not to order there anything to eat just drinks and that’s it. They told us that even drinks were horrible.
I can’t even imagine that this place is even allowed to serve that kind of horrible food at all in such a famous place where people come from all over the world. I still can’t believe it. I should have taken pictures and upload for you people to see it but I guess there are enough photos in the reviews. And we should have read them before we went to this place. Stupid...
Read moreWe went to a restaurant with the family. We ordered a pizza and chicken breast with fries. The pizza came, and only dry fries — no chicken. We asked another waiter where the chicken was. They called over the waiter who had originally served us, and they brought us chicken legs. We repeated again, showed the menu for the third time, pointing at the photo of the chicken breast dish. They started claiming the image was wrong. I pointed directly to the text that said "chicken breast" with my finger.
Finally, they brought the correct chicken breast dish. After eating, they still tried to charge us incorrectly. Even though it was only a few euros, it wasn't about the money — it was about the fact that they were too focused on a "better table," and I had to wait three times for the correct meal. When I pointed out the billing error, the waiter shouted into the kitchen saying we were "arguing over 3 euros." I told him I understood what he said. He continued acting like a 5-year-old.
Why on earth would I even leave a 1€ tip after that? All the waiting and arguing. Dear waiter, you might want to consider retirement if you struggle to remember orders and try to embarrass customers in front of others. If I hadn’t been with my children, I would have embarrassed you much worse. But I let you play with your little toys and enjoy your 1-minute attention.
Read moreWell it’s a nice surprise that by the sea and with the view you can get such a low prices for Venice. We ordered spaghetti carbonara and tortellini, we received our order right away (within 5 minutes) which is kind of strange. Given the pasta was really warm. It made us suspicious that it was pre made. Carbonara was ok, but kinda tasteless. Pancetta could be a bit more done. Aperol was tasty. With our meal we got some bread, but due to the big amount of pigeons on the square our bread was “stolen”. The waiter was upset with us for feeding the pigeon, but honestly we weren’t the...
