Conad — Local services in Venice

Go to place for grocery shopping if you Airbnb around here. Chilled ready meals including pastas and pizzas and salad leaves are the must-have's. Also get your cured meats, cheeses, breads, crisps, waters, alcohols and yoghurty thingy here too. A little busy around dinner time but surely you can plan or wait a little bit, no?

Walk from the main Grand Canal along the smaller canal to get here. Or ask your Airbnb...

When we arrived in Venice this summer and needed cold soft drinks no supermarkets are open past 7pm. We asked everywhere, the locals were not very helpful and told us everywhere closes at 7pm. This Supermarket was closest to our accommodation, when open the next morning, it's a nice shop and seemed reasonably priced and friendly. Just closing time...

Was a bit cramped inside. The food and item selections were a bit limited... You have to squeeze around in there really. The lady working the register was great, and bags are free. If you need to stock up for say AirBnB, go to this place. Note the hours it is...
