Gelateria Ca' d'Oro provided the best gelato experience I've ever had.
Now we have that out of the way. This relatively quiet, crowd-less Venetian gelateria packs a punch from the cold creamy flavours to the warm friendly welcoming.
For casual travellers to my fellow gelato sommeliers, this is a stop id recommend taking.
Our outstanding experience from this charming no fuss gelateria was the fun greeting from the two gentlemen chatting with my partner and I like we were old friends visiting once again.
We sampled a melody of flavours during our visit to Venice. But the two I want to talk about are the Pistachio and Tiramisu. Both had a depth and flavour I hadn't yet experience via gelato before. If you are unsure give these flavours a whirl.
I could talk about how he gave us extra scoops and perks for free for the accolade of just being nice.
But I'd rather you go experience this Gelateria for yourself. Even if you think you have reached a glass ceiling for gelato experiences, I'd challenge you to break it...
