I visited just before they started service at 18:30, and was surprised to see people already lining up for their sandwiches – it was much busier than I expected! We decided to try the "Gang" and "Ex" sandwiches. The "Gang" sandwich offered a unique flavor, but personally, it wasn’t for me. The meat tasted like raw cow filet, and the texture was quite tough, making it difficult to chew. On the other hand, the "Ex" sandwich was a much better choice, with its melted smoked cheese and rich, high-quality olive oil that stood out in both sandwiches. The bread was fresh, and the open kitchen added a nice touch, giving a sense of transparency and cleanliness. Came to eat because of all of the reviews. Took a long walk all around Verona and thought this would be a great way to end the trip. We ended up getting three different ones. My favorite was the beef carpaccio. So good !!! Tons of beef and a great bread! I would have given five stars but my wife is gluten free and Italy has been so amazing with almost everywhere having some kind of gluten free options. This place does not have anything.
