we ate both here and at Ru Yi and the food here is far far far better. the prawn fried rice is a masterpiece, very close to din tai fung level in terms of flavor in the oil, the wok hei, the separation of each grain, the size of shrimp, the size of the egg pieces. the corn is a weird but interesting addition. yes i am very particular about my fried rice, but details matter. it shows there’s a good chef in the kitchen who cares about the food they are making. the chili oil is super legit. the fish soup is made with the entire fish including the head which is essential in delivering full flavor. served properly in one of those pots with flame at the bottom, keeping it warm and making it more delicious towards the end. all signs of a great chinese restaurant.
you should only trust reviews from chinese people when it comes to chinese food. and i know a lot of reviews say this is the best bla bla bla and most of the time i go and it is disappointing or just ok. not this place. i was almost in tears after the meal, ive lived in europe for so many years and it made me...
Read moreI went in 10 minutes before they were set to close/finish their lunch service. Most other places would turn you away, but they didn’t. Their staff were very friendly and the food was delicious. I had a serving of prawn dumplings and beef dim sims. It reminded me of home, which I’ve missed during my stay in Italy. I’ve spent the last week in Verona and I’ve noticed that there aren’t many Asian cuisine restaurants. Additionally, a lot of other restaurants don’t seem to care as much about their customers. Most other restaurants have staff outside haggling and trying to get you inside, where very often the food is subpar and the price is outrageous, but not this place. These people don’t do that. They just quietly work hard in the background. I mean they only charge $2 euro for labour, when most other places charge $5-6. If you’re looking for a good meal from honest people, come here. After all, you can’t eat pizza and pasta every day of the week. It gets old.
Sorry about the poor quality photo, usually I take better photos, but I was hungry and I...
Read moreI recently had the pleasure of dining at an authentic Chinese restaurant, and it was an amazing experience from start to finish. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, with traditional Chinese decor that made me feel like I had traveled to China for the evening.
The menu offered a wide variety of classic dishes, and every plate we tried was full of flavor and perfectly cooked. The dumplings were handmade and delicious, and the Peking duck was crispy on the outside and tender on the inside – truly unforgettable! I also appreciated the use of fresh ingredients and traditional cooking methods that brought out the rich, authentic taste of each dish.
The staff was friendly, knowledgeable, and happy to explain the menu. The service was quick, and everything was served hot and fresh. Prices were reasonable, especially considering the high quality of the food.
If you’re looking for a genuine Chinese food experience, this restaurant is definitely worth visiting. I’ll absolutely be...
