Gnam Gnam Buonissimissimo — Restaurant in Verona

This place is not welcoming at all. I went with a friend today for a coffee during lunchtime. We were sat having a normal conversation and we’re not overly loud and there was another table with four people next to us eating lunch and chatting plus two other tables of two doing the same thing. The waiter came up to us and told us to be quiet and said that we couldn’t talk because it was lunchtime. When we questioned why his only response was it’s lunchtime- however surely the point of having lunch in a cafe with friends is to talk? This is also not the first time I have seen the staff do this as I was in two days ago having lunch by myself as it is near my work place and the same thing was said to another group of girl who were having a drink and not talking overly loud. Disappointment is an understatement. We chose to go there based on the high rating and nice reviews and did we regret it!

It is way overpriced.

We paid 6 euros for 4 little pancakes with nothing to eat them. The lady offered us to add jam and some fruit - in the end the spoon of jam and a sliced banana they added costed us 5 euros !

We also ordered bacon & eggs for 10 euros - for that price you can expect a good continental breakfast. Instead we got some eggs and bacon in a sea of oil. I could not finish it (see the pic and imagine how much oil there was when the meal arrived).

Quando l'umanità è persa si vede anche dai gesti più eclatanti. Entriamo velocemente perché mio padre deve prendere una pillola a un certo orario e non era preventivato che all'ora di pranzo ci saremmo trovati fuori. Chiediamo, per cortesia un pezzo Di pane e un bicchiere d acqua giusto per accompagnare la pillola. Ci rispondono che ci devono dare un panino intero perché non possono spezzarlo (sottolineo che il panino in questione era uno sputo e preso Direttamente dalla busta del fornaio). Chiediamo quanto è : 2,50. Per Un panetto e un bicchiere d'acqua.. E vabbè. Devono fare la spesa anche loro. Dicono. Ma ancora peggio quando tutto questo accade da meno di 3 minuti non ci lasciano stare tranquilli al banco che ci dicono di sederci perché il banco è sporco (pulitelo no???). Non possiamo sederci, siamo di fretta e lui sta mangiando velocemente perché deve prendere La pillola (gliel abbiamo detto Dieci volte). Ci spostiamo di due metri ed evidentemente diamo fastidio anche lì, perché ci dicono di sederci o di spostarci. Ho esclamato che hanno perso l umanità, non aveva neanche finito di masticare, ha preso la. Sua pillola e siamo usciti. Vergognatevi. Sono senza Parole dal trattamento ricevuto, mancanza Di comprensione del momento delicato ....
