SOLiS GRANDE — Restaurant in Chatan

Strangely enough, no one ever writes about the wines at this restaurant, but for wine lovers, it is worth mentioning. After all, despite being an Italian restaurant, there are no Italian wines. All wines are from Moldova and Romania. This is probably the only place in Japan where this is the case. If you like wine, you must visit this place when you visit Chatan. And if it is lunch time, try the Moldovan Blanc de Noir made by the Champagne method, and if it is night time, try LUPI, although it is a bit expensive. I’d like to share some honest feedback regarding our recent visit.

Unfortunately, our dining experience was quite disappointing. My wife received her pizza and had already finished eating by the time mine finally arrived. This kind of service is not acceptable, especially when we both ordered the same type of dish. Meals should be served together so that guests can enjoy their food at the same time.

We were looking forward to a pleasant meal together, but the timing issue really affected our experience.

After dinner I was looking for a place to have dessert and the sugar brown cheese cake on the menu caught my attention so I decided to try it. Although I haven't tried the full dinner 'yet', the menu has affordable prices and the wine list also has some promotions. Highly recommend trying the gelato. Everything I saw being served was very appetizing. the place is very well decorated and cozy. If you like Italian food, want to drink good wine or just want a dessert at a great price I highly recommend...
