I recently discovered this gem of a pizzeria in Okinawa, and it completely blew me away. From the moment we walked in, the staff greeted us warmly and even brought us moist towels to freshen up before our meal—such a thoughtful touch!
Pizza Quality The pizzas here are genuine Neapolitan style: impossibly light, with a pillowy, char‑kissed crust (the cornicione is perfection), topped simply but impeccably with San Marzano tomato sauce, creamy fresh mozzarella, fragrant basil, and just a drizzle of extra‑virgin olive oil. Every bite tasted like it was flown directly from Naples to Okinawa that very day. Unlike the greasy, heavy “fast‑food” style pies some people expect, this is fresh, vibrant pizza that showcases top‑quality ingredients and expert technique.
Service & Atmosphere Service was prompt without feeling rushed. Our server explained each pizza variety and made great recommendations. The restaurant’s open kitchen lets you watch the pizzaiolo at work, tossing dough and sliding pies into the wood‑fired oven—an experience in itself.
On the Reviews I noticed a few mixed reviews online, but I’m convinced they’re from diners unfamiliar with authentic Neapolitan pizza. If you’re used to thick, heavily‑topped, greasy slices, you might not appreciate the sheer artistry here. Don’t let that deter you—this is some of the best pizza you’ll ever taste, anywhere in the world.
Recommendation Whether you’re a pizza aficionado or just love great food, treat yourself to a meal here. Order a classic Margherita to start, then branch out to the Diavola or Quattro Formaggi if you’re feeling adventurous. Pair it with an ice‑cold Italian beer or a light sparkling wine, and you’ll be in pizza heaven.
I can’t wait to go back—and when I do, I’ll be bringing friends who need to discover what real Neapolitan pizza...
Read moreWORST SERVICE I have had in my life! And they have no shame for charge +300¥ for table/ service 😂😂 I still can’t believe.
First the guy who was in charge of making the waiting list, ignore me when I ask to put my name and run to the Japanese costumer who arrived there after me.
Then with my name on waiting list he call me after 20min to say may table was ready and I can’t take long to be there. I rush with my 2 costumers there and when he saw me, he got nervous and was looking to say excuse that he call me wrong and supposed to be other Japanese first who was after me actually.
So I wait more 7 min e and nothing and many tables without costumers soo I ask other staff when my table will be ready, even if they mistake the call, they need fix it fast! They prepare a new table finally but didn’t say sorry for their mistake.
After that we order food+drink and cup of water, they forget bring water! Was asked 2 times, the food came and o water yet! After soo long, some staff came and just put the cups on the table together and lived 😅 ( she forget I am paying for table/ service )😂😂
After that she served water for the all costumers but not for our table😂😂😂
Where my 300¥ for service ?😎🤣
Was enough staff there working to check all tables 😅
** But other Japanese costumer got so mad with the staff and wanted to Fight there .
Theft area manager to see this situations?

Read moreAVOID mushroom pizzas! Serve soggy wet pizza and bad attitude. Was so disappointed by the Capricciosa pizza 😩 the pizza had a lot of excess soup / water on it. So it was wet from the center to almost the crust, completely soggy.. then toppings fall off once you pick it up.. no flavor, bland ham.. the only good thing is the crust.. The pizza soup probably came from the fresh Japanese mushroom and not squeezed canned artichokes they used.
The worst thing was the restaurant staff and chef insisting soggy, soupy, wet pizza is their recipe and style after many back and forth communications. They still charged us the pizza, the substitute lasagna, and offered a small free dessert. The extra 2k yen doesn’t bother me that much. It’s the fact they don’t admit they serve bad food and refuse to take in real customers feedback. When we pointed out they didn’t handle the Japanese mushroom well. They started to say this is in Japan, and their recipe, so pizza supposed to have soup on it ???
Later I found 6 other reviews pointed out the exact same wet soggy pizza problem and say would never return. Wish I saw them earlier
Non-mushroom pizza and lasagna was not bad. Will not come back - from customers who have eaten thousands of pizzas and lived in Europe and US most...
