Yakiniku King — Restaurant in Chatan

We are regular customer here , and today was the worst experience ever. We requested 2 tables for our friends and us who are leaving okinawa in 3 days. The receptionist/ waitress who assisted us was very rude , like if I can give 0 i will do it. Her name is ARASHIRO . I asked the other waitress for the name since her name tag doesn’t have the translation of her name. , ARASHIRO told to us that there is now way we can get a 2 tables since there’s no available tables , like bruh. It’s plenty of tables inside. She left and didn’t say anything to us on what to do . The other lady who is very nice and approachable assisted us to our tables. We got the 2 tables. The entire service was bad. We ordered food and ARASHIRO serve the plate to me with anger and put force on the plate to put it down on the table. Obviously servers are talking about me. They are looking at me and talking , and all the food we ordered, they all gave it to my husband just like I don’t exist on the table. Like what I said, we are regular customer here , and today , they served the food very slow, took them 25 minutes to serve the meat and the garlic rice that I ordered. I am a beef lover especially grilled beef. This one serves low to general quality beef for medium price. Very amazingly there is no Ishigaki beef at an Okinawa mid-end grilled beef restaurant, not to talk about Kobe beef. No matter you order beef with sauce or salted beef on the electronic menu, you get the same thing. I am happy to pay more for good beef. But there is no good beef in the menu for me to order.

To make thing worse, the waiter accidentally dropped a soft drink on the floor wetting the back of my T shirt. This is not the scary part. When the waiter suddenly wanted to clean my T shirt, he sprayed the detergent at my shoulder level while my family was having dinner. I hope no detergent had gone to my food as I called him off immediately.

Would not recommend it to anyone. If you can take this kind of beef, while not go to McDonald's or Burger King? If you pay a bit more for good beef, go to Gyu Kaku near this one. If you want good grilled beef, don't even step...

So first off this review in not about the food, which I actually think is one of the best yakiniku places and the price is not bad. This review is about the disrespectful staff. We reserved a table for 15 (5 kids and 10 adults, all Japanese except me). Kids had there own table and we had two joined tables. The meal was great. At the end of the meal a staff member decided to ask a 13 year child why the children where there. They were confused by the question and asked what he meant. He said why the kids decided to come and take up a whole table that could go to other customers......we had to pay for all the kids so it’s not like they were taking a table and not paying anything.

The staff member didn’t have the guts to say it to an adult, so he said it to kids ranging from 8 to 16. The manager was very apologetic when we talked to him, but that doesn’t excuse there actions. Will...
