Such a lovely experience, I turned up at around 7:15 and was unsure if they were open, but they were happy to serve me. Super attentive service and accommodating for English speakers. The food was some of the best I’ve had in Japan. I ordered the pork bone ramen and the garlic gyozas- definitely a must try if you love garlicky dishes (I couldn’t wait to take the photo so already ate one lol) This place definitely deserves more recognition

This was one of my favourite meal experiences while travelling Japan. Some of the best Ramen I have ever had. You MUST TRY the spring onion gyoza, I will not be ok only having these once. The owner is the sweetest older gentleman that walked us through the menu, and gave us recommendations on his different homemade spices additives for his ramen. It’s an absolute must if you’re visiting Mt.Fuji

I always look for hole in the wall or local eateries. I can appreciate more the culture and people in the area. We just pass by this place coming from Kanadorii. And this is a very old and traditional place. Ramen is not like the other ramen with very rich flavor. Rather, it is mild and balanced. Egg is hard boiled though not the typical shoyu tamago with soft yolk. Pork is soft though.

I had an amazing experience at this restaurant! The owner personally greeted us and provided detailed recommendations from the menu. He emphasized the popular choice – the gyoza with garlic, which truly lived up to its reputation as ‘number 1’ and was absolutely delicious. I tried the spicy miso soup, which came in a generously sized bowl – a perfect blend of flavors, especially after mixing. The owner’s hospitality was exceptional; although tipping isn’t customary in Japan, his service made me feel like he definitely deserved a tip. Despite the reasonable prices, I believe the quality of the food surpasses the cost and I would gladly pay more. As a token of appreciation, the owner even offered us Japanese tea for our journey back to Tokyo, leaving me touched by his kindness. I couldn’t recommend this place enough – a...
