Honcho Street offers some nice views of Mount Fuji, especially from certain vantage points along the street. The atmosphere is lively, with various shops and eateries that cater to tourists. However, the area feels quite touristy, and it wasn't really our cup of tea.
While there are several shops selling souvenirs and local snacks, many of the offerings seem geared towards visitors rather than providing an authentic Japanese experience. The restaurants, while decent, lacked the depth of local cuisine we were hoping to find.
That said, the views of Mount Fuji are impressive and make for great photo opportunities. If you enjoy a bustling street atmosphere and don’t mind the touristy vibe, it can be an enjoyable stop. Saw also a few who took the opportunity to stand in the middle of the road when the lights are red. Dangerous but i think its awesome lol
