This place was a lil hidden jewel to say the least! We entered unknowingly and we were greeted by a lady with a smile and she helped us to our table. In terms of service: She was eager to explain the meal sets to us and as a party of three we ordered three sets, an extra tempura plate and a cold sake to share and honestly, it was amazing. Not knowing the language very well, with a few words, and pointing at the menu, we got around pretty nicely! In terms of the food: The Pork Cutlet Set was crunchy and tasty! Keep in mind that you should be open for suggestions here, the lady suggested to drizzle the meat with the fruit sauce and let me tell you, it tasted great! My partner ordered a set of Assorted Sashimi and it was fresh and delightful as well. Payments: Cash or Credit Cards If you are ever around the Fujiyoshida City, come by and have a little taste of this local Japanese homey-feeling establishment.

Read moreFamily run place, amazing katsu curry 🍛 the place is very warm, has a good menu. We ordered Katsu Curry, Cutlet & Tempura, the curry was flavourful & delicious.
An old uncle, his wife run the place. The curry was just right in taste, meat & rice blended really well with the curry. It’s a must try item on the menu.
Do order Tempura set as a side dish, it goes really well with overall main course.
The place is well maintained, it has couple of fish tanks. One of the fish tanks has a fish with legs & it was walking in the water, seemed creepy at first but many kids along with families were mesmerised by it!

The staff was very welcoming with us and gave a warm vibe to our experience. She invited us to sit and recommended how to order so we wouldn’t order extra food. We also wanted to try Sake and she pointed what I would guess it was her recommendation. The lady even pointed which sauce goes with each plate.
The place has an english menu and they understand pretty well too. Food came in relatively fast, with the perfect textures and hot.
Worth mentioning that they don’t do take-out. I would not mark this as a downside since it is probably part of the culture and the experience of dining in makes everything...
