This family run café is just simply incredible. It is ran by a cute couple who opened this shop who are extremely friendly, and spoke amazing english as well.
Food: The katsu pork Sando was absolutely delicious. The owner explained that the pork was marinated and slow cooked for 24hrs Which made the pork so tender and soft. The flavour of the sandwhich was incredible. The best sandwhich i have had so far in japan.
The strawberry cream sandwhich was really lovely, the sweetness was perfect and was not over powering, its tasted amazing and the texture was fluffy. Strawberries was fresh as well.
The katsu curry was also extremely delicious, you can tell they took the time to cook the curry and the flavours are amazing. Katsu Pork is just as tasty as the sandwich.
They also provide free Coffee and tea, the coffee was columbian style coffee and was actually really really nice, mixed with the coffee creamer which made it very tasty.
Lastly the view from the street is really good to spot Mount fuji when the visibility is high. Street is also quiet for you to take pictures.

Read moreIf you ever find yourself near this little newly opened gem of an eatery, the answer is YES. This husband and wife-run spot served up the most succulent pork katsu sandwich we’ve EVER had. We’re talking tender pork, incredible sauce, soft-as-a-cloud bread, and truly the perfect pork-to-bread ratio. It’s generously portioned too; think American-sized, which makes sense since the husband spent years in the U.S. (and speaks English really well!). There’s an option to do half if you want to try other stuff (like the fruit sandwich!).
We also tried the Mt. Fuji Roast Beef Bowl and wow, top-notch quality. The beef was tender, and the egg, simmered in the roast beef sauce, was bursting with flavor.
Sadly, we were too full to try the seasonal fruit sandwiches, but we heard rave reviews and majorly regret not saving room! Also, all orders come with unlimited tea and coffee! Such a lovely touch, my fav was the tea.
Honestly, this place is a must-visit. Amazing food, warm hospitality, and a true local treasure. Go give it a try and support them, you’ll be so...
Read moreJust off Honcho street, after looking at the rave reviews; this takeaway shop doesn’t disappoint. Got the roast beef sandwich. It’s light and fresh with a slight crisp to the buttered toast, and mix of mustard sauce within the salad. Truly divine - so much I came back for seconds! Though I tiny bit wish there was a little bit more meat, nevertheless it is tender and overall delicious. Also have complimentary hot and cold tea… and decaf tea! For someone sensitive to caffeine, it was a blessing, especially as it was yummy too! To top it off, the owner and staff were welcoming and very sweet! Such a good way to take a break here before going to the next destination. Thanks for the delicious food! Highly...
