We stumbled upon this place when looking for a spot to rest before going to the pagoda for the sunset. Wow, what a hidden gem! We didn’t have lunch after 2 hours of train + 2 hours of walk, so we ordered the whole menu 🤣 everything was delicious and tasted homemade with great attention to detail. I loved the chocolate scone and pudding, and my partner loved his butter toast and strawberry panna cotta, with fresh thyme (who knew strawberries and thyme go so well together!) I wish I could try their coffee but it was a bit too late in the day for caffeine and they didn’t have decaf, so I got an oat matcha latte. I personally prefer it to be richer but that’s just me.
