Junko Korean Restaurant — Restaurant in Fujiyoshida

A very cozy place that feels like home run by a very sweet Korean lady. When we came in, we were alone and she was very very caring. Take the shoes off and sit on the floor :) we were later joined by a group of young locals and it was a very immersive experience.

Just keep in mind, it can get cold in the winter. She also doesn't speak english but she still communicates very well.

The food was delicious, prepared fresh and comes boiling hot! All very very delicious. An English menu is available, you can point and she'll take your order.

20231007 - this little Korean family restaurant is running by Korean, not only the chief but also the staff. They are friendly and talkative (can communicate with Japanese and Korean but not much English. However, English menu with pictures is available) Though the prices are not cheap, the volume is great. Stumbled upon this restaurant as it is very close to our airbnb when we went to visit Fuji area 2 years ago. It was such an amazing experience!
