I wasn't a fan of sushi and sashimi before dining at 尾之上, but the dinner my boyfriend and I had was truly delightful. We could taste the freshness of the fish and sushi. The appetizers, soup, and steamed eggs were also delicious. We loved the dessert as well—it was incredibly fresh and tasty, making for a perfect ending to our meal. In addition to the food, I really appreciated the owner's politeness. He was smart enough to recognize that we were from Hong Kong right from the start and treated us very kindly. 😊 Overall, our experience at 尾之上 was a solid 10 out of 10. We highly recommend this restaurant to anyone staying in HAKATA; you'll enjoy delicious food provided by a very attentive owner.

博多で早めのランチ、評判の良いお寿司屋さんを見つけて訪問。 11:30開店ですが、10分ほど前に到着、先頭で並びました。この日は、開店時間までに後ろに１名のみで、入店後も12時くらいまでは空いていました。酷暑もありますしね。開店は、11:30丁度です。奥様がドアを開けて、暑かったですよね、と申し訳無さそうに言ってくれます。いやいや分かりますよ、暑いからと開けてあげたくても、それやり始めるとキリがかないですから。スムーズに前菜、味噌汁、茶碗蒸し、寿司が提供されます。これ…1500円？綺麗な店内、カウンターでこれを頂いて1500円？？うーん、これは、サービス精神というより、愛を感じますね。残念ながら手拭きは無し、コスト的なところかな、まあ、箸で食べますか。寿司は、シャリは普通サイズかやや大きめ、江戸前寿司のサイズ感です。ネタはやや小さめ、もう少し大きい方がバランス良いですが、お値段考えると限界でしょう。海老と穴子さんが特に美味しかったです。海老、この茹で加減は素晴らしいかと。食べながら見渡すと、日本酒、焼酎、カウンター前にはウイスキーのメニュー、こりゃ店主は酒好きですね。寿司にウイスキーか、どーなんだろう、やったことないですね。ボウモアとかラフロイグまで、寿司にアイラどーなんだ？合うのか？合うのかも？？私は好きだから、試してみたい気も。これは、昼はサービス営業で、夜、つまんで飲みに来てくださいよってことですね。博多でタイミングあったら、来てみよう。会計すると、奥様が、暑い中ありがとうございました、と、よほど待ってるの気になってたんですね、その気持が嬉しいですね。ご馳走様でした。

🍀2023年10月初めてランチで訪れました。 11:15到着。すでに5組ほど並ばれていたので、すぐにお店の場所がわかりました。 ◇開店5分ほど前に、女性スタッフが、並んでる列に人数と注文を取りに来ます。・寿司ランチ　　　1,000円(税込) ・寿司ランチ大盛　1,500円・海鮮丼　　　　　1,000円・いくら丼 2,500円 ◇寿司ランチ大盛を注文寿司、小鉢3品、味噌汁、茶碗蒸し、デザートがついていて、コスパ抜群です❗️ (欲張って注文時に、1人前多めに頼もうとしたら、小鉢も全て多くなりますから、大丈夫ですか⁈と言われ、断念)正解でした。笑笑＊開店時間になると、2組ずつ案内されます。席に着くと、まもなくランチが。待たせない工夫が随所になされています。 ◇小ぶりなお寿司ですが、11種のにぎり🍣を味わえて、巻物も6貫、コスパ抜群です✨✨ 茶碗蒸しやおみそ汁、デザートの味もすべて美味しくて、大満足でした‼️ ◇店内の壁には、メニューにある全国の日本酒マップや鹿児島の焼酎マップなどが飾ってあり、飲んでみたいお酒の数々です。次回はぜひディナーで訪れたいですね💕 帰り際には、板前さんのご実家のみかんまでいただき、ありがとうございました。 ◇PayPay利用可 ◇美味しいお寿司をリーズナブルな価格で、提供されています。また訪れたい素敵なお店です💕

My father and I was being "shooed" with a frowned facial expression in a rather loath and dislike manner by the owner when we went in to politely waited to be seated. I then was told that it is fully reserved. I totally understand that fully reserved is a common thing in japan therefore I didn't have any bad feeling towards this. However, the manner of the owner is unbelievably unpleasant and impolite. It almost seems like he doesn't want us to step one inch inside his shop. I didn't comment this to tell the owner about this bad experience, as I realized that he doesn't care at all through looking through the other reviews from foreigners. I comment this hoping that if other foreign travellers see this, please save yourself from being discriminated by choosing any other sushi...

가성비 맛집이라는 리뷰를 보고 방문했습니다. 사장님으로 보이는분이 5000엔 "only 오마카세"라고하여 고민하다 입장했습니다. 저녁엔 오마카세만 하나보다 싶어서요. 하지만 이후 방문하는 일본 현지분들은 그런말없이 다받으시더군요. 외국인용 메뉴가 따로 있는건가.. 일본 방문 후 처음으로 차별하는게 느껴졌습니다.

자리에 앉자마자 주류메뉴판을 따로 주십니다. 첫 코스로 미리 세팅된 계란말이 등의 간단한 음식이 나왔는데 맛은 그럭저럭 괜찮았습니다. 하지만 주류 주문하라고 점원분이 옆에 계속 서있더군요. 안시킨다고하니 약간 불쾌한? 반응으로 주방으로 가십니다.

음식 하나하나 나오는데 먹는 속도 고려하지 않고 그냥 음식 내오고, 한창 먹고 있는데 아이스크림 같은 디저트 주고 가십니다. 메뉴에 대한 구체적인 설명도 없고 손님을 배려한다는 느낌은 전혀 없습니다.

나온 코스요리도 가성비는 커녕 돈아깝습니다. 오마카세 먹고 배안차는 것도 여기가 처음이네요. 그리고 다른 후기의 3000엔 요리와 차이가 전혀 없습니다. 외국인은 5000엔을 내면 3000엔 코스를 주시는건지 3000엔(생선회) 5000엔(특선 생선회) 구성비 완벽히 일치합니다. 설마하고 이게 끝이냐고 물어봤는데 환하게 웃으며 그렇다고 하시네요.

기본적인 태도는 뭐 현지분들이 그렇듯 웃으며 친절한듯이 반응해주시지만, 제공되는 서비스는 5000엔 코스먹고 기분만 잔뜩잡쳤습니다. 블로그 글이나 후기에 가성비 집이라는 글들이 많던데, 점심에 가면 1000엔에 초밥주는 구성은 괜찮을지 몰라도 저녁엔 비추천, 혹시 갔는데 only 오마카세 하면 그냥...
