Dining at 食堂 おわん was an extraordinary experience that surpassed all expectations. From the moment we walked in, the service was impeccable—attentive, warm, and genuinely welcoming. The ambiance of the restaurant is both comfortable and beautifully set up, creating the perfect environment for an unforgettable meal.
The star of the evening was undoubtedly the food. Every dish was a masterpiece, crafted with the finest ingredients and utmost care. The prawns were incredibly juicy, bursting with flavor, while the Wagyu beef was tender and cooked to perfection. The salmon roe was fresh and delectable, and the crab was a delight, offering a taste that was both rich and satisfying. Even the appetizer was a highlight—meticulously presented and absolutely delicious.
A special mention goes to Chef Morimoto Keisuke, whose culinary skills are truly exceptional. Not only did he deliver an outstanding dining experience, but he also went above and beyond by treating us to a surprise cake at the end of our meal. His friendly and accommodating nature added a personal touch that made our evening even more memorable.

I ordered the ¥1,500 lunch plate, which came with a variety of small side dishes — everything was delicious. The roast beef rice bowl was just the right size, and the meal also included a fresh salad, which is always a nice touch, especially for women. I left feeling completely satisfied.
I’d love to come back for dinner next time. The restaurant has counter seating, tables, and a few private rooms. It’s cozy, but there’s a decent...

We were able to get a walk in table at the window seating area at 6pm. I think bookings are a good idea as the higher bar seats were all reserved. The set meal is very good value for money. We had one set menu and a 10 course tasting menu between two people. The 10 courses really highlighted the local culinary specialties such as mentaiko (spicy cod roe). They also had an Ala carte menu, but this wasn’t translated into English. The drinks menu is pretty extensive with local wines, sake, cocktails and liquor. Everything was delicious and we had a great...
