We decided to grab a quick dinner near our accommodation as it was getting late and we stumbled upon this restaurant. When we opened the doors of the restaurant, we were instantly greeted by the delicious smell of roasted meat and loud (but not unpleasant) chatters of the diners - a stark difference from the quiet street outside. It was Hakata Gion Yamakasa (博多祇園山笠) period and there was a huge group of young float runners having their dinner at another table. The atmosphere was great!
We were the only foreigners in the restaurant but we were able to order food via QR code and the staff were nice and friendly. Food and beer were delicious and refreshing respectively. Would definitely come here again to order...
