We were over-nighting in Fukuoka before catching an international flight the next morning therefore apart from economic which is always important we wanted something we could find and was cheap to get there and back from the airport. Fukuoka airport has a subway station in the basement (once you work out which sign to follow). Three stops down the line is Gion station and from there just a few short blocks to walk. The place was very accomodating with our early arrival and let us into our room early. Security on the main entrance door tripped us up a couple of times and the reception folk were very patience with those dumb foreigners who havenโt read the door instructions we gave them. The room was generous is size as compared to the average hotel room and was effectively a small apartment with most facilities, none of which we used, but hey you might. Enjoy, weโd book this...

ย ย ย Read moreLovely stay. I stayed for 1 night but wish it was longer. Spacious, comfortable apartments with use of laundry, separated toliet and shower, and air conditioning. Extremely clean. Friendly staff who spoke excellent English and recommended some great places for lunch. Front desk staff isnโt there 24/7 but the staffed hours are quite long. No breakfast. For me, this didnโt matter....
