Everyone please watch out...be careful with the way they charge customers...we visited Fukuoka from Okinawa... ordered the set with 7 dish for 4000yen that served 2 people and 1 side dish ...when making the payment they said 4000 yen is for 1 person ...we questioned them... but they insisted that 4000yen is for 1 person...not as on the menu...so we ended up to pay 8000 yen for the set plus the side dish... what a stink scam!!! Will not return and everyone please be careful...
Updated: got the owner's unhelpful response...the menu with the motsunabe set picture said 4000yen serving 2...we have 2 people so we ordered 1 motsunabe set and 1 course/dish of beef tendon...they served/brought out 1 motsunabe set and 1 course/dish of beef tendon... but required to pay for 2 motsunabe sets = 8000yen...they did not serve or bring out 2 sets...now they said the price for 1 person...but the price on the menu is for a set (1 set)...we love to see if they post the picture of the menu that was shown to customers...if they do then hopefully they will not modify it before posting...and that's enough for us...no more comments...just hope that everyone watches out for...

Read moreもつ鍋 (beef intestine hotpot) is originated in Fukuoka and there’s a lot of stores selling! This shop is an old wooden architecture and they provided lockable shoebox so you need to take off your shoes while entering. I would say it’s a quite traditional store. We choose the most popular miso hotpot, the vegetables and champion noodles are extremely tasty but the intestines itself is a bit too greasy for us so we left over most of them. We also tried some special dishes including beef intestine cold dishes, stewed beef and fried beef tongue. Beef tongue is just tooo hard to chew and the others are delicious. This dishes goes well with highball, beer and drinks. The taste is strong and salty so you’ll get pretty thirsty. The mint they provided is just right after the meal! One thing to remember, the taste will stick to...
