Everyone please watch out...be careful with the way they charge customers...we visited Fukuoka from Okinawa... ordered the set with 7 dish for 4000yen that served 2 people and 1 side dish ...when making the payment they said 4000 yen is for 1 person ...we questioned them... but they insisted that 4000yen is for 1 person...not as on the menu...so we ended up to pay 8000 yen for the set plus the side dish... what a stink scam!!! Will not return and everyone please be careful...

Updated: got the owner's unhelpful response...the menu with the motsunabe set picture said 4000yen serving 2...we have 2 people so we ordered 1 motsunabe set and 1 course/dish of beef tendon...they served/brought out 1 motsunabe set and 1 course/dish of beef tendon... but required to pay for 2 motsunabe sets = 8000yen...they did not serve or bring out 2 sets...now they said the price for 1 person...but the price on the menu is for a set (1 set)...we love to see if they post the picture of the menu that was shown to customers...if they do then hopefully they will not modify it before posting...and that's enough for us...no more comments...just hope that everyone watches out for...

The Oyama Beef Intestine Pot is a culinary masterpiece that showcases the depth and richness of Japanese cuisine. From the moment it arrives at your table, the aroma is enticing, promising a flavorful journey. The beef intestines are meticulously prepared, achieving a tender texture that is both satisfying and delicious. ใ‚‚ใค้‹ (beef intestine hotpot) is originated in Fukuoka and thereโ€™s a lot of stores selling! This shop is an old wooden architecture and they provided lockable shoebox so you need to take off your shoes while entering. I would say itโ€™s a quite traditional store. We choose the most popular miso hotpot, the vegetables and champion noodles are extremely tasty but the intestines itself is a bit too greasy for us so we left over most of them. We also tried some special dishes including beef intestine cold dishes, stewed beef and fried beef tongue. Beef tongue is just tooo hard to chew and the others are delicious. This dishes goes well with highball, beer and drinks. The taste is strong and salty so youโ€™ll get pretty thirsty. The mint they provided is just right after the meal! One thing to remember, the taste will stick to...

If this tour in hakata and fukuoka is first to you, this restaurant must place top of your food list. They are kind, food is good and SGOI!!. Motsunabe is their signature menu and we can enjoy two different type soup. One thing is miso soup that is popular. Another is soyu that is so sweet. Because we have to eat every type, I reccomend you enjoy it with many people. This restaurant is so popular, if you possible you must go there at openning time. The liquor that I reccomended is 'suntory highball'. That is a kind of cocktail in Japan and taste is so sweet. But Be carefull, the degree of alchole is higher than beer. Don't miss that is a whisky based cocktail. Enjoy motsunabe and highball at ooyama. Thank you.

On a chilly autumn evening, without second thought I went to this offal hot pot restaurant immediately after checked in to my hotel. Arrived at around 6pm solo and was given a table but had to finish before 7:15 pm. Ordered the standard hot pot that cost 1630 yen, a medium beer, cod roe and porridge set. Very satisfied with everything. There were 7-8 pieces of offal which literally are cow but there were also a lot of veggies and 2 pieces of tofu. The miso base soup was so tasty with a lot of flavours.
