I opted for a broth style because I didn't want to dip and something too spicy. The broth is good. Medium thickness. Not too salty. The noodles were interesting. They're pretty chewy. Around 5mm wide. Pretty good to help pick up the soup when you slurp. The only thing is... I kind of like it a little more cooked be because it's on the ticker side - unless you like it al dente. Btw, when you order the soup one they ask if you want minced garlic with it. I do like the amount of meat...

I've tried many of the top tsukemen in Tokyo and Kanetora is definitely amazing. Order by machine and then lineup, after a shop clerk will come ask you how you want to customize your order. Many tourists so the lineup was big at one point it was 40 people in line, also they speak basic english. Got the premium rich tsukemen and the dipping broth was incredible. Lots of toppings and they are perfectly done. The noodles had the perfect chewiness. Overall I would love to come...

One of the nicer tsukemen I had in Japan! Chanced upon the store while looking for food. There was a steady queue outside but the turnover was pretty fast, waited only 15 minutes. Do make sure to purchase via the machine first before queueing.

I think I got the special for the chashu and I highly recommend it! Loved how flavourful and tender it was. Noodles were thick and bouncy. The broth was briny and flavourful but yet overly salty, and packed full of ingredients....
