Uochu, like the Tenjin wappa teishoku-do, is a Tanakada group canteen set up in the Michelin Guide.

It seem like a popular place for set meal where you can choose 1 or 2 main dishes. There were at least 10-15 people waiting in line. After they just open. I had the homemade marinated cod and tuna as my 2 main. Changed to pork miso. The code was a good portion, tender, can’t really go wrong with cod. Tuna was fresh and tender. The pork miso was filled with veggie and slices of pork. Flavor balanced well with miso. The marinated sashimi that came with the set was also very fresh. Very average food. In fact, this was the worst meal we had during our trip. What I wanted to order was sold out at 19:30 on a Sunday, alongside half of their menu, which is quite surprising and I have no idea what the people queuing when we left was going to eat.
