Hungry Heaven — Restaurant in Fukuoka

The restaurant is easy to find and with the location being in the middle of the city, there should be no problems getting to it. Because the restaurant is on the smaller side, you should make sure to avoid the busy lunch hours, otherwise you might be forced to wait a little bit. On the other hand, the lunch menu is until 17:00 so there should be no problems avoiding the busy hours. The service was okay, nothing special to say. Now to the important part, the hamburgers. They are really big and have many ingredients on them which seem to have been carefully selected to go well with each other and not destroying the taste. They also have English written on the menus. Overall I would say that the burgers are delicious and you can’t go wrong if you decide to go to Hungry Heaven. Hungry Heaven is a quality burger place in downtown Fukuoka. They have a big selection of burgers on their menu including all the classics and a few interesting variants like the curry burgers.

I ordered the bacon cheeseburger and added avocado. Overall the burger was tasty; the bacon was thick and the toppings were fresh. However, I was a little disappointed with the beef patty. It was thinner than I was expecting and a little dry; this is the primary reason I docked a star.

The one in the Fujisaki arcade was a bit small, so I did take out which added an extra 130 yen to the price, but it was packaged nicely and was still warm after a 20 min walk home. I got the deluxe with all the toppings and it was worth the 2030 yen price! All the flavors blended so we'll together: sweet, savory, and hearty!
