Unpleasant Experience today. Our recent visit to Hakata was highly disappointing, starting from the moment we arrived. Despite having a reservation, the staff initially attempted to refuse us entry because we had children with us. This was a completely unwelcoming and frustrating start to our evening. The issues continued throughout our meal. When one of my children whined softly, we were immediately told to keep our kids quiet. A few moments later, after another slight whimper, a staff member approached us again with the same demand. It felt as though our family was being constantly monitored and scrutinized, making for an incredibly uncomfortable dining atmosphere. To top it all off, the food itself was mediocre at best. Given the unwelcoming service and hostile environment, the unremarkable food only added to our overall dissatisfaction. We had hoped for an enjoyable family dinner, but instead, we left feeling unwelcome and thoroughly let down. We will not be returning...

A well-known brand has multiple outlets in town, with walk-in service available. The menu is offered in both Chinese and English for non-Japanese-speaking customers.

During my visit, we were seated by the window facing the street, similar to a cafe setting, next to a semi-private room. Unfortunately, the group in the adjacent room was very loud, and the waitress placed dirty plates from their table next to ours.

The service was okay, but the young waitress seemed rushed and didn't explain how to eat after placing all the chicken inside the pot.

The egg roll was enjoyable, and the chicken conger, which was the last part of the dish, was the best part. The dessert pudding was lovely. However, the chicken and offal didn't have a special taste; they seemed like regular chicken from the supermarket.

In my opinion, this place is a bit overrated. I believe there are better quality options available in town at the same...

Food is good but please note that this place allows smoking in the restaurant (after 8pm). When we were given a private room unfortunately we came after 8pm, our next door room guests were smoking profusely. Smoke entered via the top gap and partition and trapped in our room. Requested for help but waitress told us the place was full and we had to make do... Disappointed, my family were eating and choking. Could not taste anything much, eating quickly to get over the meal/ordeal ... My eyes began tearing and had to leave the room intermittently for fresh air. The manager saw me and quickly made arrangements to turn on the ventilator (why did not the waitress do so earlier?) and soon moved us to another spot. Had it not been for this smoking experience I wld hv enjoyed the meal thoroughly, and given a 5-star rating. My throat hurts badly...
