HOTEL WA HAKATA — Hotel in Fukuoka

What a great, reasonably priced place to stay in an excellent location! Ten minutes walk to almost everything and a lot of restaurants just in the first block. Easy access to the subway as well with a short walk.

Check-in was seamless even though it is an unstaffed hotel. The lobby has free incidentals, and the rooms even more.

We have a double with an extra bed so that we can sleep three and there is plenty of room.

The washer/dryer, refrigerator, and seating area for four wih a table to eat on make it perfect for cooking [or takeout!]

The toilet room has the obligatory bidet toilet and the sink/shower room has its own dedicated heater as well as a massive amount of space. I would imagine you could roll a wheelchair into the shower.

The video check-in people were prompt, friendly, and efficient.

Don't forget to bring your Fukuoka hotel tax with you and...

Excellent hotel and is very clean. Very comfortable room. The only one thing so that the housekeeper forgot to check the one of the bar chairs, as a previous customer left her face brush in between the chair, which is quite disgusting. Overall very very good place to stay very comfortably. Could wash and dry clothes in the bathroom, but I wish they provided separate hangers used only for drying clothes for hygiene. They only have the ones that everyone uses for outside clothes, so that is a negative. Would stay again since it is a spacious and comfortable space with clean kitchenette, medium size cold fridge, freezer...

There is a kitchen, so it is good for families with children. It is located in the middle of Tenjin and Hakata, 10 minutes by bus and 3 to 5 minutes on foot. There is a supermarket nearby, so it's good to cook. There are also restaurants nearby. However, between Tenjin and Hakata, you need to walk for about 15 minutes or use the bus for 10 minutes. It was spacious and comfortable, and it was nice to have a washing machine.However, the utensils seem to need replacement. (Frying pans, cups, etc.)There are no basic sauces (salt, oil).But all in all, it's the perfect place for a quirky...
