They were fully booked for the evening from 6:30pm, so when I showed up at 5:45, I was very rushed and could only order sushi. Staff and the sushi chefs were very friendly and accommodating, but the sushi itself was was a huge hit or miss. I ordered the ¥4K 8pc sushi set. For the first 2 pieces the rice had too much vinegar, to the point where it completely overpowered the delicate taste of fish on it. Maybe that was an unevenly mixed first batch, since it looked like I was the first customer for dinner?? I have no clue. But! The sushi was mediocre at best, and obviously dangerous at worst, especially as they served us eel and sea urchin. They sat us in the far back corner of the otherwise empty restaurant, far away from where the chefs were preparing food, so we didn’t even have a good experience while dining. They told us that we had to finish in under an hour, but when we finished in 45 minutes the restaurant was still empty. Do yourself a favor and avoid this restaurant like the plague...

After living in Japan for a couple years, I would argue the sushi was the best quality I had for the price, expect $60 per person. I recommend ordering the Omakase (chef selection) of the sushi, made for an incredible experience. Service was also excellent, with the sushi being prepared relatively fast....
