As a gaijin (foreigner), the staff made me feel so welcomed and even offered their phone for me to order food when my phone couldn’t load the QR code properly. The 550 yen service charge comes with a side of their signature fried chicken wing that won all the chicken wings I have ever eaten. Trust me, eat your skewers with the original Torikaya Spice provided on the table. I even wanted to buy the spice but unfortunately it wasn’t for sale. My only regret is not discovering this place much earlier as I would come here every night to complete my nights in Fukuoka. You guys have won my heart, my cholesterol level and my stomach.

There are 5,6 staff in this Yakitori restaurant so they serve you food and drink quickly after your order. Yakitori is not special but not bad. Atmosphere of this restaurant is like Korean Chicken restaurant! Not like Japanese style Yakitori restaurant.

This place is loud and energetic. The food is good and staff are friendly. Their yakiorigini is bomb becuase they put some shisho leaves into the rice. Smoking is allowed so if you can’t stand cigarettes smell you should tell the staff. They are very kind and will arrange a seat accordingly.

Not foreigner friendly. I was turned away early in the evening despite the restaurant being nearly empty…Then I straight away checked bookings online and was able to make a booking for immediate entry - however after being turned away it would have felt uncomfortable to walk back in after being told it's not ok for me to enter.
