Restaurant Review: Haikara Chinese

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Haikara Chinese with a group of friends, and I must say it was a delightful experience. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted warmly by the staff, creating a welcoming and inviting atmosphere.

The menu at Haikara Chinese offers a variety of Chinese dishes, and we decided to try their famous fried chicken with the rice set and wantan. Let me tell you, it was absolutely delicious! The fried chicken was crispy on the outside, yet tender and juicy on the inside, making it a perfect accompaniment to the fragrant rice set. The wantan was also a delightful addition, with its flavorful filling and perfectly cooked wrappers.

To our surprise, we visited during the happy hour, which made our experience even better. We were able to enjoy some refreshing beverages at discounted prices, adding a touch of joy to our evening. It's always a treat when you can savor great food and drinks without breaking the bank.

Speaking of the prices, Haikara Chinese offers incredible value for money. Considering the quality of the food, the friendly service, and the overall dining experience, we were pleasantly surprised to find that we only paid around 1400 yen per person. It's rare to find such reasonably priced dining options without compromising on taste and quality.

The ambiance of the restaurant was comfortable and cozy, with tasteful decorations that created a pleasant atmosphere for conversations and laughter. The staff members were attentive, ensuring that our needs were met throughout the evening. Their knowledge of the menu and willingness to provide recommendations further enhanced our dining experience.

Overall, our visit to Haikara Chinese was a resounding success. The combination of delectable dishes, the happy hour offering, and the friendly service left a lasting impression on all of us. We would definitely consider returning to Haikara Chinese in the future, eager to explore more of their menu and enjoy another delightful evening. If you're looking for a Chinese restaurant with great food, reasonable prices, and a welcoming ambiance, Haikara Chinese is definitely...

I have to say, I hate ramen, but I still eat it. I have to say this is probably the absolute best ramen I ever had! It tasted amazing, fresh, great aroma, and just the right spice. It is very Chinese influenced.

The fried rice was something else, great taste and all. The fried wonton is something I would recommend trying. They have a menu you need to come back to try, there are many items. The ramen was really handmade and you can see them make it. It is just amazing and I can't put it into words, if your in the area, just go there and eat it!

The price are extremely affordable and cheap, saying reasonable doesn't make sense to me, for what your getting, it is worth it. In USD, this only came out to about less than $30 dollars for 6 items, translate that to California and New York prices and you get about $100+ for this kind of quality! The service was great and the owner was super nice, he let us in the very last minute of afternoon closing, we were lucky. The great atmosphere and good staff, this place was quite an experience, definitely a place where...

Awesome chinese food in a cute and comfortable store. I was really hungry and ordered shumai, chahan, and the chashu shoyu ramen. Everything tasted delicious and satisfied my cravings - the shumai was tender, chahan was not too oily and packed with flavour, and the shoyu ramen was delicious because of the hand made and cut noodles. I felt the msg amount added was pretty heavy. I like the flavour of msg but the aftertaste lingered for a while after I left. Anyways, next time I would go back for more of their dim sum and to try their kakuni ramen.

A warning to vegetarians, out of the three items listed under the "recommended vegetarian items", two of them are made with katsuobushi dashi (fish stock) and the other must be specified to be made with regular oil instead of lard. Make sure to discuss with the staff - they speak very good English and are very helpful and accomodating. Fried vegetables is the one my dining partner had, and it...

Most of the restaurants close early around 6pm and Haikara closes at 8pm so we went to have our dinner. It wasn't crowded and we ordered the sets. The fried spring roll and the shumai was pretty normal. The Gyoza was juicy inside and crispy outside while the fried wanton was crispy all over. Love the rice dumpling as it tasted authentic with dried shrimps, pork and mushroom. The noodles no matter was it the half portion or full meat portion were good, seasoned well and paired well with the small flat noodles. The taste of the draft Sapporo was really good here and it was even on happy hours. There's an English menu and the staff speaks a little English. Payable by credit card as well. Would recommend it if you visit hakone.
