Visited 3 November 2023 Had a beautiful afternoon tea at the Salon de the Rosage on our first day at Hakone. We arrived at Hakone around 3pm from Takayama and didnt get to have lunch. Decided to have afternoon tea as we were staying across the road at the Hotel De Yama. My friend and I both ordered the apple pie which was the house specialty. The waitress did the syrup art in front of us and we each got a different display of the sauce. Apple pie was delicious and the lake view was beautiful. Weather was perfect for outdoor seating.

Loved the place - patisserie is delicious, very good coffee and a big selection of loose leaf tea. Serving is very posh - very much like typical high tea. Place is located just at the lake side and by the clear day you have a view on Mount Fuji - has a parking or a 5minute walk from Hakone shrine

A very decent cafe with luxurious view and food. It has a very nice view with good food and drinks. The food is very presentable and the taste is awesome. If you interested in their tea, you may purchase from their store at very reasonable price.

Wonderful and lovely atmosphere for tea time. The desserts and tea were superb, one would think the tea set could have cost over 5,000yen but instead it was only for 2,500yen. A must visit when you are in the area especially on a sunny afternoon!

Just beside the lake. Very relaxing coffeehouse. I sit outside. Enjoy the cake and red tea. That is the best and most wonderful afternoon tea. Cake is lovely and red tea is very good. Recommended to sit in balcony and have a wonderful time.

久しぶりの来店で楽しみにしてあたました。以前はかなり待ったと思うのですが、12月５日の平日だったからか、15時過ぎに訪れた時には他にお客様がいらっしゃらず、一番眺めの良い席に案内して頂く事が出来ました。芦ノ湖を眺められる様に４人掛けのテーブルに横並びで２人で使わせて頂きました。 入ってすぐに何組かのお客様が入って来られ、窓際は直ぐに満席になりました。 あいにくの曇り空でしたが、芦ノ湖を行き交う遊覧船を眺めながらゆっくり出来ました。 私はバラ科のアレルギーがあり、目の前でデコレーションして下さるアップルパイは食べれませんでしたが、友人が頼んだので久しぶりに素敵なデコレーションを目の前で見せて頂きました。 デザートという事もあり、バラ科のデザートばかりだったのが、残念でした。私はモンブランをお願いしましたが、ケーキのまわりのデコレーションは他の方のあげている写真と違っていたのでアレルギーに配慮してくださったのかも知れません。 ただ会計は個別では出来ないとの事で、電子マネーでの支払いばかりで２人とも小銭がなく両外をお願いした所、お断りされている所に他のスタッフの方がレジのスタッフの方に言って下さり、本来出来ない両外をして頂きました。 久しぶりのケーキのお味は普通でしたが、こちらが恐縮しない様になのかデコレーションのフルーツを変更した事を仰らなかったのは凄いと思いました。 場所は山のホテル内ではなく、芦ノ湖の湖畔です。私達はタクシーで伺ったので、道路の反対側にあるこちらの駐車場で下ろして頂いたので、2階のショップ？から入り、階段で下におりましたが、１階に下りるスロープもありました。
