麺屋 優光 広島三川町店 — Restaurant in Hiroshima

京都の名店、麺屋優光が広島に初上陸しました。黄金色に輝くスープは見た目が美しく、喉越しも良くてとてもすっきりとした味わいです。全粒粉入りの麺は歯ごたえがあり、私がこれまで食べた中で間違いなくナンバーワンです。個人的にレア焼豚はどこも同じ味だと思っていましたが、その認識は打ち砕かれました。優光の焼豚は柔らかく、食べ応えがあり、しっかりと味が染み込んでいます。東京に帰った後も、再び広島に行って優光のラーメンを食べたくなりました。年間100杯以上のラーメンを食べる私ですが、広島店の優光が間違いなく一番美味しいと思います。

The famous ramen shop, Menya Yuko from Kyoto, has finally opened its first location in Hiroshima. The golden, shining broth is visually stunning, with a smooth texture and a refreshingly clean taste. The noodles made with whole wheat flour have a great chewy texture, and I can confidently say they are the best I've ever had. I used to think that rare grilled pork tasted the same everywhere, but my assumptions were shattered. Yuko's grilled pork is tender and satisfying, with flavor deeply infused. After returning to Tokyo, I find myself wanting to make another trip to Hiroshima just to enjoy Yuko’s ramen again. Incredibly tasty Ramen, the broth is complex, flavorful and balanced, so are the chashu and bamboo shoot toppings. Tried the hachiku first and had to come back to try the other styles, too. Great little find around the corner from the Hilton Hotel. It’s on the ground floor - walk in and it’s pretty much the first little restaurant on the left.

Staff speak a little bit of English and are of course super hospitable.
