Initially we booked the wrong night by mistake. I immediately had sent letter to the host, just 2 minutes after that mistake. And at first, host said, that they would refund without any problems, but after that he turned down our ask for refund and offered only date change, which was the problem, because the price was 2.5x more on the dates, that we needed and we would never stay at the place so expensive. In the end we had to make additional payment to stay for only one night, just to not loose the first money transfer. And host refused to talk about why he changed his initial position and what is wrong with the refund 2 months prior to the stay. Even that we had assured him, that it was really a mistake (confused "mar" and "may" in the app) and sent him our plane tickets,.He also told us, that he can't give us refund, because he prepared the room and because of the booking he couldn't rent room to another person and lost money, which I find highly unlike, since the first response from him was very quick and the wrong booking was made 2 hours before midnight, so it's very unlikely, that someone else would rent it. Overall, I don't think that it could be considered as hospitality. The place itself is nice, if booked for an appropriate price. Don't expect luxury, but a simple, spacious room with a balcony and a view on the...
Read moreGenuinely one of the best hotels I've ever stayed in Japan. We were first a little sceptical about the legitimacy of this hotel, as it seemed too good to be true based on the price and the room portrayed. However, everything advertised was not only true but better than advertised.
Not only are you able to stay in what is essentially an apartment (kitchen, dining table, lounge and bathroom), but the room itself feels very new and modern.
Location wise it is great too, with Nagarekawa-cho being right next to the hotel offering you a multitude of restaurants. We recommend Fumi-chan if you're looking to have some delicious Hiroshima-style Okonomiyaki. The peace memorial park is also only a 20 minute walk from the hotel, or you could use the convenient bus stop located right in front of the hotel, which can also take you to Hiroshima station in around 7 minutes.
The only real complaints I have is that personally I found the beds to be too soft (I know, nitpicking), as well as the fact that it can get a little noisy at night as the hotel is located right next to Nagarekawa-cho as previously mentioned, which has a very lively night-life.
Aside from that, we will be definitely staying here again if we find ourselves in Hiroshima again. Thank you for the amazing stay b-hotel, you guys definitely live up...
Read moreWe booked a room with 2 beds and it looked fine at first. The Host was kind and let us store our luggage before check-in which we appreciated. In general, the contact with the Host was friendly. On the first night of our stay, we checked the matresses and spotted multiple small insects on both matresses right away. As we didn‘t feel comfortable sleeping on them, we contacted the host, which answered really fast. They were not able to offer us another room, but suggested a cleaning. We were sceptical toward the effectiveness on that, because the insects were on the matresses, not on the bedding. Because the cleaning was the only alternative offered, we looked for another hotel to stay in. The Host told us that, even though we didn‘t stay in the room, a refund or anything else is not possible. We were not able to find another solution with the Host or booking (where we...
